The new Babybel Pro cheese wheels come in a 12-pack and contain 5 g of protein each as well as probiotics. The real cheese comes in a wax enclosure and reminds me of the old days growing up in Europe! It tastes very fresh, is perfect as snack anywhere and has a mild taste like a mixture between Münster, Butterkäse and Mozzarella.

I never understood the point of the individually wrapped cheeses personally not only because they are wasteful but also because they are expensive as well. The wax can be reused for those that want to melt it down into something else, but the outer plastic wrapping kind of defeats the purpose because the wax already protects the cheese inside. The taste is fine, but I don't think it's worth the extra price.
Babybel makes delicious cheeses that are just the right portion size and great for kids. I pack them in lunches or take them on road trips. The cheese is creamy and pairs well with fruit and crackers.
