I am a business traveler and I use the Medium Flex about every other week each year. The hardware has been very sturdy and I’ve never had any issues with the wheels. I was so excited to order the lilac color when it became available, but unfortunately, it was defective and the stitching for the expansion came apart after the first use. I contacted Customer Service and they were very helpful; they were out of stock in the lilac color, so they let me choose another color as a replacement. They also let me keep the defective one, which I use as a backup. The defective Medium Flex also had issues with the inside straps falling off and being sewn on the wrong way—maybe someone had a really off day? I haven’t seen any other issues with my products.

I’ve been using the bigger carryon for trips up to about one week for almost two years, and I have yet to find a problem with the suitcase. It has to be gate checked on most smaller planes, but that’s a smooth process. It’s durable, rolls smoothly on a variety of surfaces and is really easy to organize.

I love these suitcases. They are chic and durable, plus they come with a lifetime warranty. The only reason I am not giving them a 5/5 is because the carry-on with the soft pouch on the outside does not actually fit anything, or if I do put things in it and am flying in a small plane, it will not fit in the overhead compartment.

Maybe I'm being dramatic, but my Away suitcase changed my life. I have the bigger carry-on and have used it domestically and internationally with no size issues from any airline. The wheels are butter-smooth and the style is chic! It's upped my travel game so significantly and I'm never looking back. An investment worth making imo.

Away has become my go to for every trip. The suitcases are lightweight but surprisingly durable, the wheels glide effortlessly (even when the bag is overloaded), and the built in organization is thoughtful without being overdesigned. The hard shell holds up incredibly well, and the internal compression system actually makes a difference. I can pack way more than I should admit. I also love that the design is clean and minimal, so it still looks good after tons of use. The customer service is great too. Helpful, responsive, and generous when anything goes wrong. If you travel regularly and want luggage that’s functional, sturdy, and still stylish, Away is an easy recommendation. It’s the kind of bag you don’t really appreciate until you try to go back to anything else.

Southwest tried to play with this suitcase and it did not break at all, durability is 10/10 with the way it catches itself and doesn’t crack even when they load it onto the plane. Also a stylish and cute look

I like this suitcase as it is compact yet very durable. I like that it is a hard shell suitcase instead of a fabric kind for easy cleaning. It is a nice size that is also lightweight. It fits a lot for its size.

I love my Away suitcase! The green color is stunning and stands out at baggage claim. The polycarbonate shell is durable yet lightweight, and the 360° spinner wheels make it super easy to navigate. Inside, the organization features like the compression straps and laundry bag are really helpful. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that it does show some scuffs after a few trips, and the handle could use more padding for comfort. But overall, it’s a stylish, reliable suitcase that makes travel a breeze!

I've had my Away bag for YEARS and, even as dupes have come on the market, I haven't felt tempted to replace it. Recently, I got it from baggage claim only to see that the corner had been bashed in while it was in transit. (No clue how this happens on the hard shell.) Away's customer service has been pretty responsive while I've tried to locate the original proof of purchase to make good on the lifetime warranty. My boyfriend has the dupe from Quince, which does have a more comfortable and ergonomic handle.

i thought spending this much on luggage was silly, until i borrowed my husband's away carry-on (now it's mine, haha). the carryon really fits everything you need. durable AF - and i travel monthly. this has lasted 4+ years between the 2 of us

this is the only luggage i use. it is the best investment and i have had it for 5 years now. i travel a lot and the wear and tear is not apparent at all. it looks new and i have not one complain about this bag.

My suitcases have not stood the test of time unfortunately. I got a huge indent in my carry on size when I had to check it on a trip. I still like the overall look and function of the suitcases, but now there are so many other similar options that I will probably try something else in the future.

My go to for traveling! Our family now has all varying sizes and we love that they stack into each other. It’s very durable and can easily company and fit everything we need for different types of trips.
