Reviews mention

  • Buttery-soft fabrics and textures
  • Flattering, fashion-forward silhouettes
  • Durable, wash-resistant construction
  • Versatile studio-to-street designs
  • Inconsistent sizing across styles
  • Leggings with low compression
  • Occasional pilling and stretching
  • Bras unsupportive for fuller busts

Alo earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers chic, flattering athleisure that often feels luxuriously soft, durable, and wash‑resistant, but quality and fit prove inconsistent—especially with leggings—compared to Lululemon. Reviews praise standout tops, sweats, Airlift/Airbrush sets, and yoga mats for comfort and longevity, while recurring complaints cite pilling, stretching, limited compression, sizing discrepancies, and frequent frustration with customer service and exchanges.

  • Very high quality yoga mat that is thick and offers good traction. Clothing is great for an athleisure setting. It is definitely on the pricier side, but I think you are paying for quality.

  • Generally a fan - from clothing, marketing, community and classes. I love how it goes beyond just athleisure clothing to a fitness & lifestyle hub. In terms of their clothing specifically however, I find the fit & quality is a bit of a hit or miss. The regular sales make the purchase really worth it, but wouldbe great if they can offer free international returns.

  • I have a pair of Alo leggings that I have had for maybe 3 years now and they look literally brand new. The lettering has shown absolutely no signs of coming off, the blackness of the leggings has not faded & the leggings have not lost their shape or anything like this. It definitely is a bit on the pricey side, but completely worth it (for their leggings this is my advice, but other items I would assume the same)

I think it can be pricey, especially if trying to buy a few items at once. That being said, in my experience, the clothes do last and become a staple in your workout wardrobe.

  • Love all of their products. They hold up extremely well in the wash. I find their leggings run a little large - compared to other legging brands. I always get compliments on my outfits when I wear my Alo gear.

Their hats are also a great everyday staple. Fit nice and look good on everyone.

  • Super high quality and durable pieces. I've had some items for several years and they retain their original condition.

  • I love the airlift leggings! They are smoothing and don’t sag, so they’re great for hiking as well as a quick errand run. So far, they’ve last well being worn about once a week for three months. The anthracite is a great color, but I’m also eying them in gravel and taupe. I ordered the flutter leggings in the 7/8 length, as well. I got them in sand. The fabric is very thick and smoothing, but I have noticed that they are beginning to stretch out at the knee. at 5’8, I wish I had gotten the full length, but these are definitely cute!

I wish they had more legging options with pockets and sports bras that were designed for a bigger bust!

  • I have a couple of sets from Alo, both gifted to me! The first set I have is for yoga and I didn't love the feel of the fabric. It felt soft until I put it on my body but then it was uncomfortable. Not sure what the name of the fabric was but didn't love the workout fabric. The second set I have is for lounging and running errands and I LOVED it! The waffle fabric is so so comfy, I wish I had it in every color. The pants were a bit long so I took them to the tailor and now they're perfect.

Alo could improve their workout clothing texture. Just doesn't seem the most functional.

  • I can't get enough of this brand. Everything they put out is consistently great. I tend to opt for more classic, neutral pieces than their streetwear, but all of their clothes are comfortable, fit well, and are worth their money. Beyond the clothing, I also really like all of their beauty items. I own the face wash, magnesium reset spray, serum, and body oil, and all of the products feel good and make my skin look as good as can be.

Everything is really expensive. Most products are worth their money, like sweatpants, hoodies, workout tees/tanks, etc., but I think the triumph crew neck tee is not worth the money for how thin the material is.

  • I have done yoga along with these videos with my son a few times. I enjoy the instructions and the ability to adjust exercises to my current level.

    Feedback

    I think it's great.

  • Great quality of products. Have pants and sweatshirts/jackets from them and all have been good material and fit.

Price point is a little higher than what I would expect.

  • This pullover is super soft and cozy, making it perfect for lounging or casual outings. The fabric feels high quality, and the slightly oversized fit gives it a relaxed yet stylish look. I love the mushroom color—it’s neutral but still unique and easy to pair with different outfits. It is a bit heavier than expected, so it might be too warm for mild weather, and the sleeves are quite long, which could feel bulky for some. Overall, though, it’s a well-made and comfortable sweatshirt that feels luxurious!

  • Accolade Hoodie is poor quality for several reasons. 1. Fades substantially after first wash. 2. Pilling after first wash, meaning the material forms small balls of fluff on multiple areas of the fabric. After a few washes it looks completely faded, worn and old. For the going price we expect quality and materials that will hold up. 3. Price point vs what you get is hugely disappointing. This hoodie has been a best seller and had high reviews which is why I purchased my first one. That was 2.5 years ago, it held up better, however the two I purchased in the past couple of month are awful. I mean seriously like what the hell awful. I tried to review on the ALO site but there is no review access. I have contacted customer support, they still have not responded. DO NOT recommend Accolade Hoodies.

  • HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! For the prices they charge you think they would have better customer service. I bought a pair of Accolade Straight Leg Sweatpants as a Christmas gift for my daughter - I simply wanted to exchange the Large to a Medium (same color, same pants) - at the store I was told they were out of stock & was told to keep looking on line & that I had until January 6th! Well today (1/2/2025), I could not do the exchange online myself so I called the 800# and was told sorry, return window closed, no exceptions. These pants cost $128! OVER PRICED and then to be told I can't exchange it for a smaller size - HORRIBLE!!! Save your money! There's good quality sweatpants elsewhere. ALO IS THE WORST!!!!! Period!

  • Their prices are similar to lulu lemon except the quality is very poor. My trousers came apart from the seams after one wear and have been advised that they were poorly made. Overall very expensive and extremely poor quality, and customer service is non existent, please save your money!

  • I love the look of the leggings however, they are too long and I find that they don't hold well against the body. They slip very easily when they are on. I love Alo but I personally don't like the leggings

    N/A I purchased
  • I have been a long-term Alo Yoga customer and always thought their clothes were overpriced, but I was willing to pay for the quality and styles I liked. During my recent order, I purchased a few very expensive jackets and outerwear. I made a return for two pieces but soon realized I wanted to return one more jacket that just wasn’t suitable for me. I contacted the support team well before my 30-day return period was over. I received one generic response, and despite sending 5-6 emails, I was completely ignored. A man named Dane would reply every 3-4 days with unhelpful and irrelevant responses, such as sending me old labels I couldn’t use. Now, my 30-day return period has ended because I was waiting for any form of support or assistance. I even suggested paying for my own shipping and only needed confirmation or approval before sending off a $300 jacket with no assurance of a refund being processed. Dane was absolutely useless and provided no assistance. It feels like they were just trying to delay their replies so they could finally say, "I am afraid we cannot provide another label for this as the period for return has ended," without admitting that their horrible service caused this situation. I hope everyone who shops with them is aware that there is no customer support when shopping with Alo! I’ve never been treated like this when paying so much for luxury pieces. Thanks for nothing, Alo!

  • Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Also, their items are never in stock. I will shop at Lululemon from now on. They have better customer service.

  • I used to manage a retail shop at a luxury gym & Alo was one of the brands that we carried back then. I fell in love with how the material felt; it was incredibly soft, yet firm & moves along with your body at the same time. The range of women’s apparel from Alo made a day at the gym look & feel effortless! I also really liked how the pieces were designed, it almost reminded me of what dancers would wear during & maybe after practices. The bottoms stayed in place during workouts, which is so important for coverage. However, a couple of things to note about their workout clothes— I did have a slight issue with pilling, minimal fading, & they do tend to stretch out after awhile (but would go back to its initial fit or size after washing).

    I was a customer.
  • Been wearing the brand for years. They’ve expanded their line to include more clothing styles for athleisure. The fit is great and I like the higher waist options.

  • Alo makes the worst leggings ever. I always wonder how companies like this survive. I guess it’s because they’re new and everyone likes “new”. However, I am a legging connoisseur, the best leggings in the world or by far Spanx hands-down. I would much rather spend $100 on a pair of leggings that will last me a year plus and still hold up and make your shape look good then $150 on a pair of leggings that insinuate every non-flattering curve. 😎 For the record, I’m in great shape, but these leggings make me look like I have much improvement needing to be made. I wish my boyfriend would lose this site. 😂 I’ve decided to start returning, no more storing these horrible leggings/sports bras.
