Allbirds earns strong reviews for exceptional comfort, light weight, and machine-washable ease, making Tree Runners, Wool Runners, and loungers reliable everyday and travel shoes; however, many note limited support for long walks/runs, faster tread wear and toe holes, wool styles running warm and staining easily, narrow sizing without half sizes, and a polarizing, sometimes “dated” look. Overall, the brand is good for casual wear and sustainability-minded buyers, but not ideal for heavy-duty performance or those needing robust arch support and long-term durability.

Soft shoes, but uncomfy to wear with socks and they widen alot

I bought a pair of wool Allbirds while looking for a comfortable sneaker and I was really happy with the purchase! I've had them for years and bought a second pair a year after my first in a different color.
Feedback
My only issue was that my feet do run hot, so the shoes sometimes did feel heavier after a long day on my feet or a lot of activity. I would love to try their Tree Runners because I've heard they're a bit lighter and a bit more breathable.

This review is for the ballet flat shoes. The fit is off - and I ordered a half size up based on the website's reviews. The color selection also wasn't great and I think they'd benefit from some more earthy or bright tones.
Feedback
Better return policy window - given the branding, I mistakenly assumed there would be a longer return policy window.

I love the brand + their mission. The shoes are super versatile and great for commuting. I have the wool runners in white and the slip on sneakers in gray and I wear them quite frequently.
Feedback
The wool runners are a great commuting shoe, but I can't walk too far in them without socks because the material is a bit irritable for longer walks. I've also tried the socks, which are a bit overpriced, given that they are incredibly thin and not the best quality. However, I really enjoy the brand's mission, and the shoes are incredibly easy to rewash + keep clean.

One of the comfiest shoes out there. Highly recommend.

I had to return my shoes due to sizing issues BUT I was so so impressed with the customer service, they couldn't have been more helpful and cooperative. Made such a difference and while I don't have their shoes for now, I will definitely come back just down to such good service

Bought a pair of Allbirds on a whim. I don't necessarily find them the most fashionable shoes, but wouldn constantly hear the rest of my family rave about the comfort of these shoes. I finally caved in about two years after they gained all their hype - and so happy I did! I still don't wear them to make a fashion statement, I will wear other shoes for when i go out or to match my outfit. However, whenever I need to take a long walk around the city, tour a new town or even exercise, I turn to my Allbirds. Super glad I purchased them, mine are a year old and they are still clean and look new.

Same comfort, look a little more fashionable!! Allbirds look very much like running shoes, I wish they looked a little more recreational and could match more with slouchy jeans on women.

Really comfortable shoes and fun to change the lace colours. I own a few pairs. Great unboxing.
Feedback
Wish the shoes had more heel support and were better when it's raining.

Perhaps my impression of Allbirds has been unduly influenced by their association with fashion-oblivious Silicon Valley types, but let's face it: these shoes prioritize comfort over style. I would not wear them for anything other than brief + utilitarian purposes like going to the gym or grocery shopping. They're best suited for light activity on flat terrain — I would not recommend for anything more strenuous like jogging or mountain hiking. I do like the fact that I don't have to wear socks, although I've never worn them for longer than an hour or so; if you're going to be in them all day and/or you suffer from hyperhidrosis, might be best to put some on anyway.
Feedback
I have wide, square-ish feet, and though the wool material is more forgiving than a stiff leather or canvas would be, the soles are cut pretty narrow and my toes were sort of hanging off the edge.

I have owned a pair of All Birds Wool Runners for a few years now. I have put some serious mileage into them, and they have held together well. They are extremely comfortable, particularly sans socks. I wouldn't recommend doing anything too strenuous in these shoes since they have little to no ankle support due to the thin material upper.

It's not clear whether these can/should be worn in inclement weather.

Comfiest shoes I own - considering they cost ~$100 USD, there are a lot more expensive sneakers that are half as comfortable. Sleek enough to wear to the office or out on a date and not feel like a shmuk (I work in professional services with casual dress codes) Machine washable if they get too dirty, hold up pretty well in the rain, don’t have to wear socks (as long as you’re not planning a 9-hour walk) Overall, very satisfied with the product!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I could rave about my love for Allbirds! They are easily the most comfortable everyday tennis shoe I've ever owned— my husband and I both own 3+ pair each and wear them all the time. The Tree Dashers are my personal favorite style. They're easy to clean, easy to slip on, are comfortable sockless (don't judge me...), and hold up incredibly well!

Truly no feedback on the style/comfort/wearability. Just wish they had more options— and need them to make baby/toddler sizes stat!
