Allbirds earns strong reviews for exceptional comfort, light weight, and machine-washable ease, making Tree Runners, Wool Runners, and loungers reliable everyday and travel shoes; however, many note limited support for long walks/runs, faster tread wear and toe holes, wool styles running warm and staining easily, narrow sizing without half sizes, and a polarizing, sometimes “dated” look. Overall, the brand is good for casual wear and sustainability-minded buyers, but not ideal for heavy-duty performance or those needing robust arch support and long-term durability.

I really don't know why I like my Allbirds. They look decent and are moderately comfortable. However, there is ZERO traction, and I've almost fallen numerous times. They also start to smell really easily compared to other shoes, and if you put them in the washer like they say you can then they wear out very fast. Yet despite this, I keep buying them.

I'll continue to keep buying the tree runners after I wear them out. It's so comfortable, easy slip on and my to-go walking shoe to travel with. For those with wider feet, it's great to bring abroad on trips. They are so light and easy to pack as well.

such a great company and their mission is wonderful - very comfortable.
Soft and comfortable. Although the eco-friendly material doesn't hold the shape long after couple years.
Outstanding Comfort is a crucial feature of Allbirds shoes, along with their minimalist design and sustainability. Allbirds uses eco-friendly materials like merino wool and eucalyptus, appealing to environmentally conscious consumers. Areas for Improvement are price Point, Limited Styles, and Durability. The shoes don't hold up as well over time as traditional brands. Negatives are sizing Issues: Inconsistencies in sizing can lead to difficulties when ordering online; Athletic Performance: They may not provide enough support for serious athletic activities; and Maintenance: Certain materials can be hard to clean, which may deter some buyers. Overall, they’re a solid choice for eco-friendly, everyday footwear.

Alberts from another shoe company and I really enjoy them. I think that they’re really really great tennis shoes/sneakers and they are high-quality and comfy. They also hold up really well.
I love my all birds flats. They are comfy, casual and can be washed. I’d compare them to my Rothy’s.
The person I spoke with has been nice since the start. They really made sure I got everything I needed and it is so appreciated!
Love the house slippers that were given to me. They are on trend years later. Great shoes with great purpose. The comfort the easy slip-ons are always my fav to wear around the house and outdoors. Over all great product.
Trash. I’m better off wearing paper for shoes.

Must not buy again. Very poor quality.
Comfy but I just can't get behind the design. These are unfortunately unsightly, although great quality - would love more style options!
Allbirds are so comfortable! They are cute yet functional.
Love the concept and mission, but can't get behind the running shoes. As walking shoes they are great, but I don't use walking shoes that often. Definitely want an insert in these. Definitely cozy!

My dashers are very comfy to stay on all day long. I move a lot during the day so having lightweight, proper shoes is so important. One minor concern is the durability. I’ve been wearing them about 2-3 days/week for 6 months and started seeing signs of tear.
I have multiple pairs and am partial to the tree toppers (high rises). They are thin though so if it’s cold out, wear thick socks. These feel like a cloud to walk on and are comfy, just don’t wear them out - def need to replace every few years.
Allbirds' Tree Runners, lemme tell ya, they’re like a gentle hug for your feet. The comfort level? Off the charts. The material feels surprisingly soft, and the breathability is top-notch—perfect for those scorching days. But durability-wise, they might not be your marathon shoes. Great for casual wear and strolling around, but not the heavy-duty type. If you're after comfort and eco-friendly vibes, they're worth considering, but don’t expect 'em to withstand serious mileage. 🌳👟
Great shoes. Comfort and quality
Once the “it”, now just another “ick”… Retired mine when they became the pumpkin spice latte of shoes – basic and everywhere.

One other thing. When I first got them on and figured out the laces thing, I started just walking around my house. Besides noticing how comfortable the shoes are to walk in, something else was different, but I couldn't put my finger on it. After a few minutes, I realized I was taller! The shoes add maybe an inch or two to your overall height, and it's noticeable if you're not used to wearing elevated shoes. No one is going to mistake me for a basketball player, but it's a nice little boost. Very satisfied.
