I think that quality has gone down in the recent years. The skin care range is unsuitable for sensitive skin or simply for maintaining a healthy skin microbiome. Makeup has no staying power whatsoever. Some products have downright weird texture that makes them difficult to use/blend. It’s a shame. I used to rely on 100% Pure about 8 years ago. Then they discontinued every single product I liked and alternatives are just not cutting it. They said they had to change the formulas to deliver better quality products however if you understand skin and skin care from biological and chemical point of view, it’s simply not true and seems like either greenwashing or ignorance. But the worst thing in my opinion was the brands attitude… When disappointed customers started asking for their old time favourites back, the founder has publicly stated that she doesn’t care about what people want. I mean, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth to say the least… All said, this happened many years ago - 7 perhaps? Last time I have bought from them was to try couple of things maybe 3 years ago. I am leaving an extra star just for the benefit of doubt. I do want to think that people change.
I've loved 100% Pure's products for a long time. I started using their foundation, lip gloss, lipstick and mascara back in 2016, and I'm very happy. The smell of their products is super clean, and I love how well their mascara looks. The lipstick could be a bit better, it smudges off very quickly.
