The TINTED LIQUID BLUSH is very very pigmented. Compared to the glossier blush, a miniscule amount of this product goes a long way. The texture is thicker than I would expect, so it seems that using a brush or sponge is better than your fingers. It also doesnt spread as easily as the glossier blush - but feels very nourishing on the skin.  The pink "lets go party"  is a vibrant cool pink.  The color is almost doll like

I needed a total revamp of my makeup selection and chose youthforia due to their messaging that it’s “good” for you and won’t make you breakout. I really enjoy the foundation and its minimal or buildable coverage. Definitely hasn’t made my sensitive rosacea prone skin break out which is always a plus! That said, I don’t wear it every day. I also purchased the primer, setting spray and face wash. I don’t use them all regularly but it’s nice to have when I’m getting ready for a night out. I did receive compliments from my roommate after the first time I put it on and she didn’t know I was trying new makeup! 

It is not 2016 anymore. 

The blushes are so boring. We all know ph changing make up is a scam. The blushes are hard to blend and not the right consistency. I prefer the benetint if you are looking for a more liquid blush or the rare beauty or said liquid blushes if you want a more cream consistency.

The shade range of foundation is disgusting. You cannot release 15 shades and have only 3 be for darker complexions. And then they want to claim that they were going to add in darker tones at a later date?? In my eyes, that means that Youthforia sees their Black and Brown customers as an afterthought or as less important than their white customers. You cannot release a foundation line just for white people and then defend that decision on social media. You either release 15 shades that are evenly distributed across all skin tones, and say that more undertones and/or shades will be released in the future. Or you wait for more funding, customer interest, etc. to release a foundation with an actual shade range. 

Been using the foundation for a while and for a non pore clogging foundation it gives good coverage and still feels light weight. 

Tried BYO Blush when it first came out, it was an okay experience, it doesn't blend really well. I don't wear it ever, as there are better liquid blushes on the market. 

The innovation in this product and how well it compliments my skin tone is amazing! 

Avoid if you're oily!! I want to love this brand but unfortunately I've been pretty unimpressed, especially for the price.

Of the 3 products I've tried 2 are a big miss (the primer and blush oil) and 1 is good (the lip gloss). 

Off the bat, the primer smells like tahini which is a bit off-putting. It feels very heavy on the skin despite it's claim of being lightweight and absorbing quickly. If I put foundation or concealer over it, my skin feels very gunky. I have a similar problem with the BYO blush oil. It's just very heavy and moves around on my skin very easily compared to a blush (even a cream blush). The "color changing" piece of it also feels very gimmicky and makes it hard to apply and know how much to put on. For background, I have oily skin so if you also have oily or combo skin too, these might not work for you either.

The lip gloss I have is really pretty. It's moisturizing and not sticky at all, my hair never gets stuck in it. I also like that the applicator doesn't pull out a big glob of gloss, I have small lips so it's easier to apply. But again for the price, there are lip glosses I prefer more.

Positives: The packaging and website are super cute. I have a lot of respect for the founder and think it's really cool that she went on Shark Tank but unfortunately none of these products feel very innovative and none of them work for oily skin (except the lip gloss).

It's cool that the blush turns into a color to match your skin tone, it gave me a brighter pink than I usually use and I liked it! It's very buildable, so it takes a bit longer to 1) wait for the color to change, and 2) add more as needed. This, of course, is compared to the super pigmented liquid blushes I normally use a tiny dab of (and sometimes can't get off my face when I dab too much). 

I have very oily skin, so it was beautifully dewey at first but then added to my face oils and thus made transfer a bit more of a problem. Would recommend to dry skin and/or to powder over. 

I live fun, new brands especially in the beauty world but I also feel like everything is marketed for Gen Z and Millenials. I get it but it’s hard sometimes 

I bought the BYOB for my daughter and ended up keeping it. Love this blush and looks great in my mature skin (I’m 51)

Got the BYO oil blush. Used it once and it started leaking everywhere staining my makeup bag and hands. Can’t find where the leak is coming from. Not practical at all 

i love da blush but it leaks so much like why is it leaking everywhere 

She is an amazing founder and make up the creator. 

Okay I love that I can go to bed feeling pretty or the day that I’m so tired that I can’t even wash my makeup off I don’t have to worry about that. But the blush oil is a little bit too early for me, so I only went to bed. So I can feel like I have life in me . 

This brands mission and concept is really what stands out to me. My favorite product by far is the Pregame Primer. Yes it does have an off putting smell but it doesn’t last. The way this primer sits on my skin and works with my makeup is great. I also have a clear conscious of knowing it is protecting my skin. The setting spray is also so good. I find that it helps smooth all my makeup together. I love how it too has protecting properties. The blush oil, in my opinion, is decent but I don’t find myself reaching for it. 

The BYO Blush oil is pretty cool. Love the packaging, and the light, dewiness that it gives my skin. I think this product would be great for creating a natural look especially when you're in a rush, new to makeup, or find liquid blushes to be too powerful. 

I have dry skin and usually liquid blushes last quite awhile on me. This one feels hydrating but I did find that it faded quite quickly - by lunch time I had to reapply.

I purchased their PH changing blush serum and LOVE how natural of a flush it gives me and also adds some glow. Really cool product and their packaging is also really unique.

I really love this blush oil. Will purchase again. 

This is for the BYO Blush only! I don’t wear a lot of make up and like to opt for the glazed donut look. I’ve been looking for a non-powder blush that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and doesn’t pill on top of my moisturizer and sunscreen. I was afraid the ‘naturally reacts to skin’ claim would only be a gimmick but it does work and it looks amazing. It’s very easy to apply, doesn’t feel heavy, and has a natural glow when used on top of my bare skin. I have not tried it over foundation because I don’t use any, but for people who want a nice glow on a no-makeup day, this would do the trick! I’ll be keeping this one in stock. 

Excited for new products! I got their primer, setting spray, and blush and I love all three ☺️ I have very acne prone skin and felt like none of them contributed to any break outs or congestion. Only thing is the color changing blush began color changing/getting goopy in the container  after a while

I've been testing out the primer from the brand Youthforia. I know them as the company that creates makeup you can sleep in, but I found other cool things about the company:
- On their packaging, they claim that they "care about Down the Drain Impact."
- Their products are certified USDA BioPreferred, which means that at least 25% of their ingredients that emit carbon come from renewable sources (ie. not fossil fuels).
- They claim to be leaders in bio-based beauty, meaning all of their ingredients are completely plant-based — even the synthetics.
- They follow the Green Chemistry principles, which outline a guide to promote greener chemicals, processes, and products. This means they are formulating with at least 90% naturally derived (instead of fossil fuels)

All of these things are great and I would love to see more beauty companies follow their lead. But in terms of the products, I feel like they try to be too many things at once. You can use the primer to "slug" (to seal in your skincare and prevent moisture loss) or to keep makeup in place, but I find that the product achieves neither. I prefer a thicker ointment (like Futurewise or Aquaphor) to slug and my makeup looks patchy by midday. 

I tested the blush oil on my hand. It's fine for a natural makeup girlie, but this brand was created for people who want to go out all night and not wash their face when they get home in the wee hours of the morning. I'm guessing those people aren't looking to create that no makeup-makeup look when they're planning to rage. So who are these products actually for? I'm also not in support of people not washing their faces. (Not to mention, their testing can't be statistically significant just because the founder sleeps in her products and doesn't wake up with a pimple. So misleading.)

So I love what this company is trying to accomplish, but I took two stars off because they're trying to do too many things and it's reflecting in the products they're putting out. Also, their products are expensive considering you're not getting the performance you expect from a conventional makeup brand. Make your products multifunctional, clean, etc., but they should be held to the same standards as conventional makeup brands in terms of performance.
