  • Love these products and love the packaging. Great for sensitive acne prone skin!!

    Feedback

Highly recommend the face oil and face wash

  • Nothing feels as good on my face as the kale moisturizer. It always feels cool and smooth to the touch. I like these products and using them always feels like a luxury that is clean and earthy. The packaging pushes that with its simplicity and brown boxing - and i eat it up.

    Feedback

Expensive, tbh. I think you can get good ingredient skin care for a much lower price so it keeps this brand from being an every day brand for everyone. I wish it could be because the quality is good.

  • I tried the Youth To The People cleanser because I had been seeing it all over social media and I was curious to know what the hype was about. I was hesitant because I have very sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin this cleanser caused my skin to be even more irritated and almost a burning sensation. I loved the beautiful simplistic packaging but my skin disagreed.

    Feedback

Be cautious if you have sensitive skin as this caused my skin to feel like it was burning and more irritated than before which is the most uncomfortable feeling.

  • On the pricier end but soooo good. Skincare is definitely something worth splurging on. Their Kale Cleanser is great, and their Vitamin C is a holy grail for me. I'm on my second bottle already.

    Feedback

A little expensive even in comparison to other skincare brands sold at Sephora.

  • I tried out their cleanser, the kale, spinach, and green tea one. I received it in their mini bottle form. It made my skin feel squeaky clean, but it wasn't too drying either. It also isn't strongly scented, just lightly from the ingredients within it. Over time, I felt like my skin was glowing from it. I also love how they aim to be sustainable and use natural products, as I think by doing so we can maintain having healthy skin as well.

I would love to incorporate their line into my everyday routine, but as a university student I find it a little out of my budget. If you have the extra money, I highly recommend it!

  • While I'm behind the brand's mission and it's inclusive representation, I didn't feel like their products were effective as much as they were nice to look at.

  • I had always seen videos of people raving about Youth to the People, but their product price point was a little expensive for me. Until one day I tried their Superfood Cleanser and I suddenly understood why it was all the rage. This cleanser is so gentle yet removed all my makeup (even a lot of eyeliner) so easily and leaves my face feeling healthy, refreshed, and clean. So much so that when I recently traveled without it, I felt really sad and unclean without it. I will definitely be repurchasing when my bottle runs out!

  • People swear by the kale face wash but I did not notice anything particular for my acne prone-combination skin. If anything it was drying and doesn’t remove makeup or sunscreen well. Maybe it works for people who use it as part two of their double cleanse.

  • Their cleanser is great. Very gentle yet very nourishing for the skin. I also use their caffeine serum and it makes my skin glow and feel so good in the morning. This brand however is so expensive and it's hard to keep up with it.

  • I've only tried their eye cream & superfood cleanser, both are great products that I will continue to repurchase!

  • The kombucha toner is great.

Sometimes the ingredient list is a bit too long for my liking; throwing nice ingredients at the bottom of the list is kind of a waste.

  • My skin got worse

    Feedback

Didn't change anything, I think my skin even gotten worse

  • I have combination, sensitive skin and all of their products have completely balanced out my complexion. The superfood cleanser makes my skin feel clean without stripping away all of the natural oils to protect my skin barrier. I've been using the superfood toner for about 5 weeks now and really noticed my hyperpigmentation going away and an overall glowiness to my skin. And finally my holy grail!!! The superfood moisturizer.... cannot stan this product enough!!! I've always struggled to find a great moisturizer that keeps my skin supple without getting too oily and this is the winner. The smell makes me feel like I'm at a spa and the texture is so luxurious!! The perfect primer before makeup too.

I wish their moisturizers had SPF!

  • I think YTTP has a lot of really great options for gentle, natural skincare. Their packaging is really cool, and I love their entire branding/ mission/ purpose. I do think that some of the formulas could be a little more effective re- active ingredients.

  • I used the Kale and Green Tea cleanser and I loved that it has only clean ingredients. However, I think this cleanser would work best for someone with a oily/normal skin type. I have dry skin and it did dry it out a bit.

  • A great skincare brand that wont make your face break out! They have high quality products that are worth the money.

  • LOVE this brand! I've used the Kale+Green Tea, Spinach and Vitamins face wash, the Vitanin C + caffeine eye serum, Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream, and Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm. Every product is amazing. My skin feels clean but still nourished after my night time routine. The Cleansing Balm really helped with oil control and getting every bit of makeup off! Love this brand and everything they are about!

    Feedback

    I would suggest refillable packaging.

  • I've used their Superfood Cleanser in the past and really liked it, but switched to something more hydrating for my dry skin. I still use their Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream daily — I love how thick it is without irritating my skin.

I'm worried about the future of the company after it was sold off, I'm hoping the products stay as high-quality as they currently are.

  • I’ve been using their green tea and kale face wash for years and I love it. It’s gentle and smells so fresh

  • I think this brand has wonderful marketing, but not a clear message. I have sensitive skin and some of their products made my skin patchy, dry, and burned in some cases. Now I know this isn’t the case for my friends who have tried it (the reason it has a 3/5) but I want people to be aware that while this brand looks great on the counter, it may not treat your skin the same way.

Work on improving what you are putting into your products and make your brand message clear. If you are going for clean/sustainable products, show or state that.
