  • Gentle bristles minimize breakage
  • Painless detangling for tender scalps
  • Versatile wet-and-dry performance
  • Lightweight, ergonomic brush designs
  • Fragile bristles and comb teeth
  • Peeling paint and plastic scuffing
  • Static-prone plastic materials
  • Hard-to-clean lint buildup

Wet Brush earns strong reviews as an effective, gentle detangler that reduces pain and breakage on wet or dry hair, with many loyalists citing the Original Detangler, Paddle Detangling Brush, Shine Enhancer, vented and shower brushes as daily staples. Reviews also flag drawbacks: bristles and comb teeth can break, paint and plastic scuff or shed, some users struggle to clean lint, and performance can falter on very thick, coily, or curly hair and when used with heat.

  • i use the mini Wet Brush... i love this brush! i have long thin stringy hair. can't do a thing with it!😂 i usually wear it up in a bun and it gets tangled after putting it up often throughout the day. this brush detangles my hair before my showers & i love it!

  • Have been using wet brush for over 8 years. There is no other product you would think to use after you start using this one.

  • I've been using a Wet Brush for yearrsssss (~10 years) since I was on a swim team and I have quite the head of hair! Going from a regular paddle brush to this I noticed how much easier it went through my tangled wet hair without pulling out clumps of my hair. I will never ever not use this product as it is the best thing thats happened to me since sliced bread (I can only assume that was a great time to live in with that discovery).

  • Think these are a lot easier on your hair. Don't feel like they last incredibly long, would love to see more of an emphasis on sustainability given the materials used.

  • Wet Brush is the only hairbrush I have purchased since I was introduced to the brand through a coworker back in 2015. I do typically purchase from Winners though for a discounted price. Original Detangler is my go-to.

  • It detangles well and helps when I need to brush my hair when wet. I do find more hair comes out when I use this brush as opposed to my other brushes, though

  • I LOVE Wet Brushes! I have three right now all in different colors bc they have so many to choose from as well as different sizes; travel size is a must have and it comes in the cutest case! I have a definite routine and I am very committed to taking good care of my hair. It’s a total no-no to brush your hair when it’s wet so when these brushes came out for that very reason I was SO EXCITED! No more having to brush out the snarls in your hair with your fingers and the Wet brush is SO gentle! This is 100% safe to use on wet hair I mean, it’s in the name, people!

  • This is actually my daily brush and I refuse to use anything else, my hair is my favorite quality about myself and I feel it's very important that you brush your hair properly without damaging it. Wet Bursh does exactly this, imthe brush also doesn't pull or hurt when I use it.

  • I love my wet brush. It prevents breakage when your hair is wet while detangling!

  • I love my wet brush! My daughter and I both have one and it works great for our long hair. Helps with removing knots and tangles, and works great on wet and dry hair! Great product.

  • Overall I like my wet brush. I didn't end up keeping it simply because I got a new hair brush that just 'looked cuter' from aveda but the wet brush definitely was helpful when I was brushing my hair when wet. I liked how it didn't hurt but just wasn't a fan of the color options I was able to pick from and therefore didn't keep it around. Definitely was good post summer beach/pool days!

  • This brush was highly recommended and then gifted to me by my stylist and now I’m excited to recommend this brush. It really is great when brushing wet hair and getting out snarls. I even purchased a small version for when I’m traveling

  • Love this! Use everyday and it reduces breakage a lot

  • I am excited to see that this brand is now available at most major retailers, such as walmart, target, walgreens, etc. I used to order their classic detangler brush from Amazon, but now it is becoming much easier to pick it up down the street. Works great on thick hair, and definitely reduces breakage and damage when brushing what out of the shower. I don't even have to spray detangler on my hair before brushing. My only drawback is that these are some expensive hair brushes! I think if they were about $3 to $4 cheaper I would feel much less guilty when purchasing.

  • Coming from someone with extremely damaged hair i absolutely love Wet Brush. After a shower my hair is extremely tangled and hair to maintain however with Wet Brush it has made detangling my hair so much more manageable.

  • I have several of their brushes and absolutely love them! I can brush my waist-length hair wet, damp or dry with ease. I have also found that if you use the brush vertically, starting at the bottom, then working your way to your scalp, you'll have far less knots than if you used the brush horizontally starting at the roots. Just can't recommend this item enough!

  • I’ve owned wet brushes since I was five. I love this brand. I get a new brush about every 2 to 3 months. The bristles holds up very well and it is really helpful for untangling my thick hair totally worth it by and have been re-purchasing it my entire life.

  • I love this brush! I got it as a gift and I was a bit taken a back, like “wow you got me a brush?” But actually so happy that I got it. It works after a shower, and I know they say you shouldn’t brush your hair wet, but with Wet Brush you can! It doesn’t snag, it doesn’t pull, it’s big and gentle and it detangles hair so nicely. A real treat after a shower.
