i've forgotten what it's like to reach for another spice or snack that's not west~bourne. their chili oil is in constant use at my house. i add it to takeout, rice, and my very fave - pizza!

packaging is super impressive. feels like you're actually helping the world with each item you order.
I tried the coconut almond crumble and the togarashi crunch. They were both really good! To my surprise I actually ended up liking the crumble more as it was softer than I expected. It was also really sweet and I loved the coconut flavor. The crunch was quite savory and I could snack on that as well
A really awesome brand. I'm really excited about the mission behind it and the intention behind each product. Each product has been well crafted and is done with the best of care. Also their stuff is delicious- I can't tell you how much I want to buy their Togarishi crunch and pairing the granola with greek yogurt for brekkie.

Inspired by our founder's California upbringing, west~bourne is a female-owned, zero~waste food brand on a mission to do well, eat better and gather often. With sustainability and the planet in mind, our snacks, spices, mixes and recently-launched Avocado Oil product line make it easy to convert your pantry to a zero~waste, plant-based one, while also having a carbon-neutral footprint. Our packaging was designed, after continuous research, to be the most planet-friendly packing possible. Rather than plastic, we opted for non-toxic, vegan pouches made with sustainably-sourced wood cellulose and other bio-based resins. Additionally, our glass jars are sourced from a local, family-owned business that specializes in carbon-friendly, USA-made glass jars with no plastic liners. Even our tamper bands are compostable. When it comes to our labels, we use tree-free paper from sugarcane, combined with eco-friendly adhesive and soy ink, making them 100% biodegradable, and our collateral is printed on seeded paper that grows into wildflowers when planted. Sustainability to us is about harmonizing the currently disruptive relationship between the Earth’s two most complex systems - humans and nature - to support and protect present and future generations.
