Wasted Wine Club reviews and discussion

LOVE both of the inaugural Wasted Wine Club cuvées so much. They are both of such high quality, and are such complex wines. The white is delightfully saline and just so moreish, and the red is the perfect example of why we should all be drinking more Cinsault. Gluggable and delicious! I will be getting more and can't wait to follow this important project.

Beyond thrilled to have discovered Wasted Wine Club. The 2020 Cinsaut is to die for - silky and full of life. Could not think of a better wine to bring to a summer BBQ and a better initiative to support!!

Genius concept! Love the Chenin Blanc & Semillon - delightful on a summer’s evening

A delicious taste of home, the red was gorgeous, I’d drink it by the bucket. The genius idea paired with quirky branding, what’s not to love. Give me WWC everyday of the week!

eally love the concept of working with wine makers to take advantage of surplus wine – not only reducing unnecessary waste, but also importantly creating two absolutely delicious wines. I particularly loved the white blend (Chenin/Semillon), which was really easy drinking and a real crowd favorite at a dinner party I hosted the other night. Can’t wait to see the wines to come from this innovative group!

Great wine, love the product and concept!

Fantastic concept with 2 great wines out off the bat. The Chenin Sémillon is classical and refined whilst the Cinsault is doing the burgeoning return of the traditional “filler grape” absolutely proud. Lovely South African wines, made by a wonderful producer and brought to market by one of South Africa’s finest wine wizards – and a true gent!
