Vacation wins praise in reviews for making sunscreen enjoyable to use—lightweight, non-greasy formulas, playful formats like Classic Whip, and transportive nostalgic scents—while effectively preventing burns for many users. Reviews also flag drawbacks: strong fragrance, occasional stickiness or oily feel, finicky spray/whip nozzles, smaller sizes that empty quickly, and concerns from mineral-only or “clean” ingredient seekers.

  • smells really nice and classic scent

    Influencer for Vacation
  • Worth the price tag for the scent alone. Smells like heaven and the formula is creamy, light weight, and not oily. Love all of their products and I don't even like sunscreen!

  • Great scents and very cool packaging. However, I stopped using this brand when I checked its waiting on Yuka and found that they have a n extremely low rating.

  • Cute branding, but you definitely buy it for the bottle. Nothing wrong with having a cute bottle - but the scent didn't really live up to my expectations and was kind of overhyped.

  • The chardonnay oil is great in theory, but in reality, it didn't work out for me. First, the bottle is tiny and won't last you for many uses. The product is almost too thin and runny which makes it difficult to apply- you have to keep pouring out a little at a time to be able to manage it. I didn't love the smell and I got burnt at the beach even though I was reapplying.

  • I have their sunscreen body lotion- not only does it work and feel nice, it smells incredible. Gone are the days of the old sunscreen smell, it smells like a day at the beach. Definitely reliable, worth treating yourself if you want an extra sunscreen.

  • Favorite sunscreen! I loved it so much I bought the perfume for it as well.

  • The brand makes sunscreen so fun. I've loved their Classic Whip and Mineral Lotion and they're some of my go-tos for beach days. The one downside is the price, but hey, they're going for a more premium positioning and clearly doing it well.

  • I've only tried the classic whip sunscreen but I thought it was great: the application was fun but practical, the scent was delightful & it protected me while at a music festival all day on a sunny day. Pricey, but in my opinion, I felt a lot less "gross and sticky" than I do with cheaper sunscreen alternatives.

  • I've tried the Classic Spray + Chardonnay Oil. I cannot get enough of the smell. When used together they keep me safe from the sun all day out on the water, and even enhance my tan. Cannot get enough!

  • Overall, a fun experience! I've tried the classic lotion and the chardonnay oil so far. They both smell so good. The lotion is a standard SPF experience. It rubs in nicely with no white streaks. The oil gives a gorgeous sheen, but I would hesitate to sit on anything I'd be nervous about staining. It's clear, but sits on top of the skin. Good for sitting by the pool, but not for taking a dip in the water. I'm not sure I'd find it worth the money at full price, especially considering the affordable competition out there. I bought everything on a sitewide sale. I'd repurchase on sale again.

  • Purchased the sunscreen and perfume and they smell great. The sunscreen is very light and absorbs quickly.

  • LOVE the classic and the oil! the classic smells are so nostalgic to when my mom would put sunscreen on me. the mineral sunscreen is a no for me-- might just be mineral sunscreen in general but it took multiple times of rubbing in to finally absorb into my skin. Overall love Vacation tho! Want to try the whip!

  • I have a mild sun screen obsession and Vacation has been my favorite brand so far. The classic whip is 1. so fun and novel 2. really light as air and goes on so nicely with no white cast. I also have the classic lotion which is the perfect size for traveling and love that its certified reef safe. Also their delivery packing was 100% recyclable and plastic free!

  • Favorite new sun care brand. I happened to pick up the Super Spritz Face Mist at an event with Cash App and I can't stop using it. It smells incredible and definitely does the trick. I want to pick up some of the other products soon!

  • The smell of this stuff is great and it avoids my pasty skin to not be burnt ! It’s a win win

  • It’s good sunscreen. So far I have tried the spf 30 and 50 classic lotion. Both smelled amazing and I did not burn using them on my recent trip to Punta Cana. I also use the spf 50 face spray, the face spray had a chemical scent that faded and didn’t linger after drying down. Overall it’s just a little pricey for spf. But the packaging and product is very nice. I purchased this at ulta while they were having a sale on suncare products.

  • The smell of their products is probably the main reason I can't stop using their products!! The classic lotion is my fave - can keep in my purse through the day and doesn't break me out if I put it on my face, but is priced well enough that I don't feel stingy using it on my whole body too etc. Have not tried the baby oil or classic whip but definitely would. Love the branding, would even gift a set of their products for a cute summer event etc.
