Tried the iced oatmeal and fudgetastic brownie kids bars. Great size for kids snacks, think credit card sized and 1/3 inch thick. 8 grams protein which is a lot considering the size. No nuts so school friendly. A bit chewier than I'd like and chalky, like most protein bars, but flavors are spot on. On the pricier side too, just shy of $2 a bar. Too expensive for everyday but a nice treat for those days where the extra protein and convenience is needed.

I like that Trubar tastes more like an indulgent cookie than a protein bar which makes snack time fun though the texture can be inconsistent and it does feel more like sweet candy than a proper bar. They do really taste like candy bars.

I've tried a few of these and the texture and flavor is a bit off. I like that they have a good amount of fiber, but they're overly sweet and a bit off putting. I would eat in a pinch but not recommend.

Easy and convenient plant protein snack without any weird protein taste! The strawberry cake flavour is actually really reminiscent of the strawberry pocky sticks I ate growing up. The icing coating on these bars is satisfying and the strawberry flavour is not artificial as they used natural flavours and freeze dried strawberry powder. Only note is the texture is dense but I find that to be the case with good protein bars in general.

Another 5-star from me- the day dreaming about donuts and the get in my belly on and jelly are on bi-weekly subscription service as both my husband and I love them. Also the clean ingredient list and protein is just a win/win, plus they are so delicious.

I like these a lot! The brand nor the taste doesn't scream "protein bar" which is a great thing, I think :) would buy again!

So many vegan protein bars are dry and chalky and I can't eat them without a gallon of water nearby. Trubar are awesome because they are soft and taste like a treat. They still have a solid amount of plant-protein even though they taste like a dessert. They have a great variety of flavors, so far i've had two - the cookie dough and the PB&J. Both are delicious and have have a frosting like coating. I would love to try more flavors! Like others have said, it would be nice if they were a little less sweet, but if you think of them as a dessert they are great. Guilt-free with great ingredients.

If I could give a zero, I would… after receiving the donut, choc. chip, and mint choc flavors and finding them all to be lacking (artificial taste, chalky, overly sweet), I reached out to customer service - only to receive a response after a MONTH… when i asked why it had taken so long for a response, they suggested that I give them a different email to contact me on, even though my response time was consistently ~48 hours…

I bought the Oh Oh Cookie Dough and was so surprised with taste and quality of the bars! It still had the "protein bar" feel to it but without the powder-y/dry/feels like "glue in your mouth" texture. And it looked and tasted so much more indulgent than what you get in an average protein bar. I love that there are actual chocolate chips, and the ingredients list does not look intimidating. One bar was the perfect serving as a snack in between meals! I did want to get the It's Mint to Be Chip pack, but it was sold out when I was last on the site (it is now back in stock as I am typing this!).

I am a pretty picky person when it comes to protein bars and I was pleasantly surprised! The flavor I tried was cookie dough. I couldn't really taste the protein, which is a plus to me! They are a bit small but I felt my hunger was satisfied after eating it. I do feel like they are a little overpriced but I would buy them again.

Overall, it's an amazing product. I'm not a huge fan of protein bars I usually find they're either dry and flakey, stick to your teeth, or don't taste good. None of those are the case here. Amazing, fun packaging that catches the eye, is easy to open, and the bar is like a brownie/fudge texture with surprisingly excellent taste while still being all natural and not having sugar alcohols, which makes me bloated. My new go-to protein bar

TruBar is a solid choice for a protein bar with clean ingredients and unique flavors. I love that it’s plant-based and doesn’t have that chalky texture a lot of other bars do. The consistency is soft and satisfying, and it curbs hunger well. Some flavors are better than others—wish they were a bit less sweet—but overall it’s a great option for a healthier snack on the go. Would definitely buy again!

Tried the donut flavor and it was pretty good. 7.5/10 for me. Nutritional specs met my requirements and love that it is women owned.

These might be my new favorite bar, they taste like candy. I tried cookie dough and donut flavors, both were good but I liked cookie dough more. The donut had a slightly artificial aftertaste to it

I got to sample this bar at Costco. Unfortunately, I found this bar to taste like chalky protein powder. I prefer bars that taste less like protein powder solidified into a bar. I would rather drink a protein shake than to eat this bar.

Trubar is for that moment of "SWEET TOOTH" very satisfying and it comes with plant health. My favorite is the Dreaming About Donuts! It tastes just like a donut! My family's favorite is the Oh Oh Cookie Dough. I buy them at Costco (More bang for my buck!)

The texture is the only thing that takes these down a little bit for me but the flavor especially of the peanut butter and jelly bars is so satisfying and these leave me feeling full typically until my next meal

It has that traditional gummy chewy slightly chalky protein bar texture, and are too sweet. I tried the peanut butter and cookie dough flavors (I need to keep oxalates down, so I didn’t grab any almond flavors. But cassava and tapioca also have a lot of oxalates, so i won’t be buying these again.) It was worth a try, but there are better bars out there.
