The Giving Movement Reviews

3.2

The Giving Movement earns polarized reviews: many praise comfortable, eco‑minded athleisure—soft hoodies, breathable leggings, rich colors, and a $4‑per‑item charitable donation—while others report chronic failures in delivery, exchanges, and refunds. Reviews indicate the brand is good for feel, fit, and sustainability ethos, but plagued by inconsistent quality (seam splits, pilling, peeling prints), confusing sizing, and persistently unresponsive customer service.

  • I recently placed an order from The Giving Movement and had a frustrating experience with the return process. The sizing of the clothes was quite different from UK, US, or EU sizes, so I recommend ordering one size smaller than usual. I initiated a return, but it took 4 days for the driver to pick up the item. The only issue I encountered was handing over two items to the driver, but I only received a refund for the item that was included in the return request. If you're returning multiple items, make sure to clearly specify each one, as I didn’t get refunded for all of them. Just a heads up if you're doing the same!

  • I used to love the giving movement and recommend it to friends, wanting to support a local brand. However, after I bought a T-shirt from the Palestine collection as a birthday gift for my husband a couple of months ago, the lettering started to peal off after 3-4 washes. Now, one of the letters broke apart, so my husband isn’t able to wear the T-shirt anymore, since it looks very bad. I contacted customer service, sent a picture and told them about the bad quality and all they said was that I exceeded the return period of the T-shirt and there’s nothing they can do. If a brand that is on the more expensive side for streetwear sells clothes that fall apart after wearing them 3-4 times, there should at least be an offer of replacement or compensation. I will refrain from purchasing their clothes since the prices definitely don’t match the quality.

  • The worst worst worst legging، the ugliest one I’m disappointed with these legging. The fabric feels cheap, started pilling after a few wears, and the stitching isn’t durable. For the price, I expected much better

  • once an aspirational brand to me. I finally made my first purchase but shockingly this turned out to be the most disappointing experience I have ever faced shopping online. my request of exchange is not eligible because I used a discount code of 20%. WHAT How can your policy say no to exchange or refund after offering a 45% discount on the item? And running ads to show EXTRA 20% off on the same item. Then your support team throws a fact of return policy page that says no eligibility for exchange or refund for items over 40% discount??? WHY How can you not allow your first time customer to exchange on size ? Appalled by your customer service practice. I can never trust to buy again from the same brand. And holding a title of 'Giving back' , it's a fallacy. Definitely not buying or giving!
