Reviews mention

  • Effective acne-fighting tea tree range
  • Radiance-boosting vitamin c treatments
  • Luxurious, hydrating body butters
  • Distinctive, memorable signature fragrances
  • Inconsistent lotion hydration performance
  • Occasionally overpowering tea tree scent
  • Reports of weakened shower-gel fragrance
  • Discontinued beloved legacy products

The Body Shop is broadly well-regarded in reviews for effective skin clarifiers like Tea Tree anti-imperfection solutions and brightening Vitamin C/Edelweiss ranges, and richly scented body care such as body butters and shower gels, but experiences are mixed on hydration and recent scent/formula changes. Reviews also flag overpowering fragrances for sensitive users and discontinued favorites, while praising long-lasting, non-greasy textures, standout scents like Pink Grapefruit, British Rose, and Satsuma, and the brand’s ethical stance.
