Reviews mention

  • Invisible, weightless application
  • Makeup-friendly, primer texture
  • No white-cast formulas
  • Wide, innovative assortment
  • Occasional oily finish
  • Eye-stinging spray/mist
  • Pilling with some routines
  • Limited tint shade range

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for making daily SPF wearable and effective, with Unseen Sunscreen, Glowscreen, and PLAY praised for clear application, no white cast, and makeup-friendly textures. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can sting eyes or cause breakouts, Glowscreen separates or runs shiny, shade range needs expansion, and several users question ingredients or SPF efficacy versus cheaper K‑beauty dupes.

  • i have only used the spray sunscreen. i do like it but it’s very drying and i feel like i have to reapply a lot. besides that, it’s great.

  • I like Supergoop! Play and their Glow sunscreen, but I didn't like the texture of their Unseen sunscreen (it's a matte sunscreen that felt a little drying). The Glow sunscreen adds some nice color and a glow, but it can pill if my skin has other products or is a little dry.

Overall, I think it's a good brand, but I think there are comparable sunscreens that are cheaper and work a little better for when my skin is dry or it's winter.

  • Absolutely love super hoop - unseen is A++ Smooth application and layers with make up beautifully

    Feedback

would love a lower price point but think it’s fairly priced for the caliber

  • Supergoop glow screen is a holy grail item for me. I have the stick in my bag constantly for a swipe on my cheeks and nose and it makes me look so glossy and cute.

I think this sunscreen is a great everyday product! If you’re going crazy with water sports and a beach day maybe layer with another loved product but for daily wear great.

  • Favorite sunscreen, one of the only ones that dissolves quickly into skin, doesn't leave residue or shine and is great for sensitive skin. I love the matte sunscreen and the different sizes are great for travelling.

It is a little pricey for sunscreen since there are so many other sunscreen brands, but it's worth it to me since it's the only one i've found that doesnt irritate my skin because it's free of harsh chemicals and fragrances.

  • Solid sunblock that's hydrating but doesn't feel greasy. This is what I usually reach for when I run out of sunblock.

  • I bought a kit of 3 mini sunscreens at Sephora. I thought they were ok, it lasted for a good time so I could get my money's worth. However, the Play sunscreen felt sticky on my skin, and I found the smell quite chemical like. I was excited for the unseen sunscreen, but it didn't agree to my skin, very oily. My friend, on the other hand, enjoyed it.

  • Their sunscreen is my holy grail. It’s not greasy and doesn’t leave a white cast

  • I really love this sunscreen! I’ve recently been transitioning to “clean” beauty and Supergoop! is one of my favorites. I love the broad line of options to choose from as well.

  • Love the Unseen Sunscreen and how invisible it is. No bad smells or uncomfortable feel on skin.

  • I am VERY pale so it is imperative that I can have a daily sunscreen that works for me. I wanted to like supergoop SO BAD. I bought a small bottle to test it and was totally planning to buy the big boy bottle with the pump. I just didn't find it was worth the price. It felt like CVS sunscreen, left a little residue on my face I couldn't rub out, and I started breaking out (I have usually clear skin so it was only one or two pimples but they were consistently popping up when I used it). I love the giant pump bottle design though I wish other companies would do that.

I would love to see a bebe cream option or a setting spray that is not oily and works well with and without makeup.

  • I started Supergoop PLAY Everyday Lotion SPF 50 with Sunflower Extract and I never want to go back. It's great for sun protection without clogging skin.

    The price is bit steep.

  • I can't go a day without GlowScreen, and that's not just because it has SPF in it! The SPF is great and I love protecting my skin with this product, but I love it even more because of the glow it brings to my face. I've had people stop me in stores on several occasions to tell me how glowing my skin is - and it's this. It wears well under make up too!

I think the bronze tinted GlowScreen could be even bronz-ier, but that's an issue I'll deal with in the summertime.

  • The holy grail of all sunscreens. I will never go another day without supergoop. I can't imagine my life before them or without them! The feel is great; I LOVE the feel of every single face! I wish the packaging was a bit more space-conscious and practical for travel, but definitely the most fun product I have.

  • These sunscreens are awesome. The lotion is great but they also have one that’s more of a primer texture that I enjoy as well! Can pill if used with an oil though

  • Love Supergoop! Have several of their products and have been satisfied with them all. -The texture is great and can be worn nicely under makeup -Smell is not overpowering like a lot of sunscreens -Provides coverage for a good amount of time

  • The glow stick sunscreen truly rocks. I use it every summer, mostly at the beach. It's easy to apply and makes me look glowy and gorgeous on the beach.

  • I had really wanted to love this product when I bought it. It was a splurge for a $17 travel sunscreen/primer. It felt almost silicone on my face, but it did make it smooth. I have very sensitive skin and react to almost anything (not the brand’s fault) but this product was no different than most for my overly sensitive skin. I’m sure it’s great for people with normal skin!

Being someone with incredibly easily irritated skin I would say if your skin is also that way, maybe try something else. But because everyone reacts differently in skincare it’s hard to say. It’s a cult favorite for a reason, right?

  • Not a fan. I loved their unseen sunscreen when I first tried it, but have grown to dislike it after trying products that are better (in my opinion). It works well if you like a very matte feel, and it's not too sticky. The glow screen has never been my favorite. I have also thought that it just made my face look shiny, not dewy or glowy. Hate, hate, hate the setting mist. It has a weird minty smell, and felt weird upon application. Again, not a fan of the play sunscreen, but that is just personal preference because I do not like the scent. The formula is nice. The positives: I like the glow stick, though it is a bit sticky. It's nice for reapplication. The glow oil is also nice, very cool to have a body oil work as a sunscreen. Overall, I think that there are a lot of similar products on the market that are much cheaper for most of these, but I do like the experimental approach the brand brings to the spf market. It's cool to see fun products for sunscreen when it all used to be the same sticky sprays and lotions.
