Gelcare is one of the few gel nail polishes that I don’t have an allergic reaction, because is HEMA-free. I recommend the beginner kit, and although it’s pricey compared to kits on Amazon, the investment is 100% worth it.

I first found TenoverTen doing research for HEMA-free nail products. I got the kit for Valentine’s Day (flower not included) and completely fell in love with the band! The website is beautiful, the smell of products are not overwhelming, and they also have a nail salon in NYC.

I have used Native Coconut & Vanilla for a month exclusively. I apply only once a day, before I go to bed, and I dont need to reapply throughout the day. The smell is suave, so it doesn’t have a weird impact on my perfume. The only downside is that I find it a bit sticky when first applied. It’s a pricey item, but so far I’ve seen that it lasts long.

I bought Beis Mini-Weekender on August 2022, and I love the aesthetics of the brand. However, it is very heavy!! I was traveling around Europe by trains and cheap airfare, so even though the weekender looked nice and fit a lot of my things, my arms had the work-out of their lives. I would love to test other Beis travel items!

I bought my fiancé the Sport kit from Rituals last year, and he loved it! I also tried the Ritual of Sakura, we created an account with them and have been using it daily ever since! The shower gel is smooth and the smell, combined with other products of the same line, give a luxury feeling throughout the day. Another big plus for us is the travel size toiletries!

    The Ordinary

I have been using The Ordinary for three years, and I absolutely love their products! My brother and fiancé also started using it a little over a year ago, and they like it as well. The website is easy to navigate, the price is student/young professional friendly. I had a small allergic reaction to one of the acids, so I recommend following the regimen they e-mail once you complete a short skin quiz, but also do you own research. The one downside is that we have to plan to restock early in advance, because it can take weeks to arrive.

I bought a kit of 3 mini sunscreens at Sephora. I thought they were ok, it lasted for a good time so I could get my money's worth. However, the Play sunscreen felt sticky on my skin, and I found the smell quite chemical like. I was excited for the unseen sunscreen, but it didn't agree to my skin, very oily. My friend, on the other hand, enjoyed it.
