  • Unreliable shipping fulfillment
  • Inconsistent customer service
  • Occasional stale or moldy bags

Sundays reviews show the brand works for many picky or sensitive dogs—owners repeatedly praise ingredient quality, digestibility, and that dogs ‘love’ the food—but the brand struggles with unreliable fulfillment and inconsistent customer service. Strengths include palatable, human‑grade recipes that improve coats and digestion; weaknesses center on frequent shipping delays, website/account glitches, and occasional stale or spoiled bags.

  • My 9-year-old Australian Labradoodle absolutely loves this food. Before feeding her Sundays I had difficulty getting her to eat. Now....the minute I put it in her bowl she's right there. She seems to feel energetic with Sundays and her bowels are the best they've been. I've only had her for a year but this food has been remarkable plus it's peace of mind for me!

  • My dog will eat Sunday’s beef he loves it. It’s the only dry food in seven years that I’ve ever gotten him to eat. Sometimes when I put his wet food down although I always have Sunday’s down for him instead of eating the wet food he’ll go to Sunday’s it is a miracle.

  • Teddy, my 3 year old Cavachon, LOVES Sundays! After switching from The Farmer's Dog....I LOVE the convenience of it. The ingredients are purely good food and nutritionally balanced, so I know Teddy is getting what he needs. The only downside....some of the food breaks down to practically dust at the bottom of the bag.

  • It is quite expensive but my dogs love it! They do provide some decent discounts to help with the price of this high quality, high protein dog food.i highly recommend this dog food.

  • It’s healthier food, our dog loves it, you use less b/c it’s highly calorie concentrated.

  • I’ve fed raw to my dogs for many years, and was really tired of defrosting and then working with safe timing to feed it. I love that Sundays is shelf stable, has more complete nutrition, and that my dog loves it. I also love the Sundays team and their sense of humor. (“Our retrievers have your order!”)

  • Our dogs love Sundays! One of our dogs would be bloated and panting after eating Science Diet and no longer has any stomach issues. The servings suggested to us didn’t seem quite right, and it took us awhile to figure out what works for our dogs but everyone is happy now!

  • I wish the food would come to me in pieces that I can use a treats also for training. All the “powdered” food is difficult to use at times when “hand feeding”

  • My dog loves this food, and she has a lot of energy, but it is expensive, and she has had a very soft stool since she started on it several months ago. I have to add pumpkin to her dish to combat this--additionally, she has begun to eat cat poop, something she never did before. Her vet said this may be due to a dietary deficiency--so we won't buy it again. On one occasion, they accidentally sent me duplicate orders a few days apart. I offered to return the second order but they suggested that I donate it to a local shelter in exchange for a full refund which I thought was a wonderful idea!

  • Perfect, tidy, nutritious and appealing compromise between making our dogs their own food and kibble. Have tried it all including the refrigerated dog food. We settled in a combination of Sundays and Farmers Dog.

  • Are we back on stream for delivery? Vic Pergola and Octavia

  • delivery was so slow the first order I thought they were using Australian Kangaroo express for Mars. It seems to have gotten better, the last 2 orders, Setting up a delivery schedule that suits my situation took the help of one of their members. My picky eater buddy loves it and eats every bit of it.

  • My dogs love this food. It is expensive compared to what I used to get and I'm still getting down the ordering times for them. I intend to stay with the food. Happy dogs, happy life

  • This is the only product my dog will eat we have tried countless kibbles and other prepared foods. She never turns her nose up at Sundays.

  • We used the food as a topper for our 75lb shepherd mix… he was a huge fan. Would run when we would shake the bag… Def worth getting to try.

  • My 2 dogs got very sick with the 5th box we opened. I am very disappointed with the product.

  • This dog food saved my little Grayson's life. He would not eat anything else, we tried Nom Nom, Farmer's Dog, Blue Buffalo you name it. The texture, formulation, smell puts Grayson in a trance, he can't stop eating it. We love that it is also insanely clean, fits in cupboard like cereal, and doesn't have the messiness of Farmer's Dog or Nom Nom. I was getting sick of having my produce next to their opened package of dog food. I can't promote Sundays enough - if only restaurants served this quality food. It's insane every dog in the world is not on this. I wish I could give it 5 Michelin Stars not just 5 random ThingTesting circles. Whoever made this is a genius.

  • Pretty skeptical of the negative reviews here...my experience has been amazing, and I'd suggest looking at other reviews online as well. My dog is obsessed and seems to have a way healthier coat and more energy now! I used to feed Farmer's Dog and was paying much more per month + dealing with leaky plastic bags in and out of the freezer / fridge became too much. Sundays is also human-grade and I think has a better nutritional profile; I'm paying less per month (just over $100 for my terrier), it's so convenient (can travel easily / doesn't take up fridge space / is shelf stable), and is super versatile (I use it for treats, can pack a small amount for long walks, etc.). WE LOVE SUNDAYS.

  • We’ve been on Sunday for a half year already. Last month we got a bad batch of food - we were able to validate this after 2 of our dogs ended up in urgent care after they ate the beef. We have been waiting 2 weeks to get our case reviews by Jordan. Our first dog got sick and we weren’t sure if it was the food but when our second dog finished her batch of beef she ate from our first dogs batch. Immediately overnight she threw up all the contents and ended us in the ER to recover. Both of my dogs are struggling with gastrointestinal issue and have watery diarrhea. We are hoping Sunday will take responsibility for this and pay for our vet bills. We have doctors notes and the batch of food ready to provide if needed. Sharing this to warn others

  • Here is an honest review of Sundays Dog Food. We have four dogs so our experience was not a "one off". The food is like a tough beef jerky. The plan calls for you to transition your dog to their food. We never made it through the entire period. All four of our dogs started vomiting shortly after eating over several days. We reached out to Sundays and got zero help there. They kept trying to talk to us about diarrhea due to food transition. We had no issues with diarrhea but the response seemed so canned, they apparently have issues with it. The nutritional values seem great but the portion size recommendations are silly. All of our dogs were constantly hungry. For example the suggested feeding amount for one of our 75 pound dogs was 900 calories. We are at a point now where we simply can't get any of the dogs to eat it. We even tried mixing it with wet to make it more palatable. The dogs are literally picking the Sundays out of the bowl and dropping it on the floor as opposed to eating it. This food may work for others but it didn't for us. Really bad experience all the way around.
