Sundays reviews show the brand works for many picky or sensitive dogs—owners repeatedly praise ingredient quality, digestibility, and that dogs ‘love’ the food—but the brand struggles with unreliable fulfillment and inconsistent customer service. Strengths include palatable, human‑grade recipes that improve coats and digestion; weaknesses center on frequent shipping delays, website/account glitches, and occasional stale or spoiled bags.

  • It's easy to feed. My dog loves it, I love the ingredients. Comes to the house on an automatic delivery which is easy to adjust. Great customer service too.

  • The dogs love it. I am amazed that they don't seem to miss the canned food we had been adding to the dry bag stuff. The ease of just scooping from the Sunday bag is great.

  • Customer service is great. You might have to wait a bit to reach them, but they always come through with beneficial solutions for you, and do their best to help you out. My dog is SUPER picky about food, and I have spent years trying this one and that one to get him to eat something. He thinks these are treats and so if I place them in a bowl he doesn't generally eat much. But if I hand him one piece at a time, he will gobble the whole thing up! So they are good enough for treats to him! It takes me a long while to get through a large bag since they are only his breakfast food, and I like how the bag re-seals well and stays tight during the entire time, keeping the kibble fresh and soft. At first I thought the cost was high, and would never keep using this, but have been so impressed with the food, that it is very worth the cost. And averaging out, it is not an unreasonable amount to pay for food I don't have to throw away because he won't eat it. I plan on continueing using Sundays for a long time.

  • My picky dog enjoys this food. The human grade ingredients give me peace of mind that I’m getting my dog everything she needs. And I liked the change to a less wasteful packaging

  • My dog has special dietary needs due to a stomach injury and having to discontinue his raw diet. Sundays has been a lifesaver! I feel so confident and my dog is happy and healthy. Customer service is TOP NOTCH. I had a shipment get lost in transit and I was taken care of immediately. Good company, good food for my dog and his holistic life. Thank you Sundays!

  • From a nutrition standpoint, I think the food is excellent. Great ingredients, minimal processing. From a UX standpoint, not so much. The account login is annoying and requires a two step email verification, every time. Why there isn't a simple subscriber login to manage your shipments that easily accessible, I don't understand. Support via email, while friendly, can be less than helpful. This food is positioned as a healthy, boutique, brand. Customer service should reflect that. I recently had trouble trying to request a sample of a different protein, as I have a senior with a really sensitive digestive system. I got basic "clear your cookies" go try again, support and when I did get something to finally work, it didn't do what I was requesting AND it wanted to charge me shipping. Seriously?? I feed a 75# dog +topper for my other 90# dog with your company. We spend *SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY EIGHT dollars a MONTH* with you. That's a car payment with insurance folks. The correct answer on the first email would have been, "Sure! I see you've been a loyal customer. Let me send you out a box so that you have a few days to make sure that this change would be right for your dog." Luxury products with luxury prices should also include luxury service. That's not happening here. I'm actively looking at other alternatives to reduce my spend here at Sundays. It's disappointing because we love their food.

  • My 2 dogs are picky eaters since I feed them human food plus their dog foods. They got where they wasn’t eating much dogfood until I started getting them Sundays. Now both clean their bowls everyday.

  • I love that this food is human grade - easy to store. No work. My dog LOVES the food. He gobbles it down so quick. As with everything, I just wish it was cheaper.

  • My dog loves the food, can’t get enough! Love the shipping plan too.

    Just a customer
  • My dog loves it as treats during the day and snacks at night

  • It's been a couple of months now using Sundays Dog Food and I have to say I'm happy with the switch. I was buying a quality dry kibble and a limited ingredient canned dog food. I often had to add some human treat on top of that to get my 19lb. mixed breed to eat. Often times it still sat in his dish for hours. Since he's been on Sundays he eats right away. It's gone in 60 seconds. I do add warm water to it as he was eating so fast he seemed to have trouble swallowing efficiently. The only real adjustment is the cost. It's a lot, but since I have a small dog and just me to feed I can do it.

  • Buyer and pet lover beware. This food is very very high in fat content. Not so great for your dog even though they love it. Also make sure you do not sign up for a subscription, if you dont want it, ..double check..as website is tricky. And they do NOT take unopened food back. Very expensive lesson. They will give you 50% of cost if you donate food to a rescue foundation. Buyer beware.

  • If I could do negative stars I would. Had my dog on their food for 2 months and main complain was grainy crumbled bits but the dog would eat it. Got the third month of food and dog got massive diarrhea and vomit after starting the new bag. I pulled her off the food and immediately went back to Purina pro plan and go figure stool right back to firm. I reached out to let them know and get a refund or something and instead they suggested to keep her on it and try a pro biotic. Absolutely not putting my dog through 12 diarrhea bouts and vomit for more than a day. DO NOT BUY. Ps 200 a month for a 50lb bulldog for bad food. Nope.

  • My dog loves the food ! It’s a bit expensive since I’m low income and on a budget so I give it to him as a topper

  • I'm glad that my pets are getting a high quality diet that is developed to maximize their health. Knowing that my orders are set up to ship on schedule, with advance notice that allows me to adjust when needed, is a plus, too. And the customer service is OUTSTANDING!

  • HORRENDOUS shipping and customer service The boxes ALWAYS arrive late. We are in NYC and they ship from NJ (one state over) and they always exceed 5 business days from the time they ship. The main issue being because they ship via USPS and if you sign up for autoship, that's the only way they'll ever ship to you. Unless of course you want to pay extra for expedited shipping Today we had a new event happen, which is that an order is likely lost (has been "in the network" within NYC itself for three entire business days). When reaching out to customer service to complain that orders are always late and now this one is almost certainly lost, and then requesting that perhaps they can send another order that we pay for but have them cover the expedited shipping, the answer is to go pound sand

  • Convenient and comparable cost to similar products. However eventually I found that the product began to have an unpleasant odor and then discovered lots of green colored pieces throughout the bags. The food was rancid! I requested and received a refund for the most recent order and I haven’t used since then.

  • So far, so good! We are slowly acclimating our pups to Sundays. We are just finishing up their remaining kibble and Badlands Ranch food. Our dogs like Sundays better, and we found it to be better quality.

  • Easy to store and feed. My dog loves it and she's picky about her food. I don't have any issues with the food and good experience with customer service.

  • Suddenly our sweet fur baby is enjoying her food, eating more, yet is slimming down! She loves it so much, even eats it out of my hand!
