Sundays reviews show the brand works for many picky or sensitive dogs—owners repeatedly praise ingredient quality, digestibility, and that dogs ‘love’ the food—but the brand struggles with unreliable fulfillment and inconsistent customer service. Strengths include palatable, human‑grade recipes that improve coats and digestion; weaknesses center on frequent shipping delays, website/account glitches, and occasional stale or spoiled bags.

The good: Our dog likes the food. He seems to be very healthy on it with nice fur. We initially trialed the food with a nice discount that was offered. The bad: Super expensive product. Despite entering our dog as very active, which he isn't, and adding a couple of extra pounds to his profile we still have to feed him more than the recommended servings to maintain his slim weight making his Sundays even more expensive than advertised. Lately, it seems the company only cares about profits. They billed me for our monthly supply on May 14th and still have not sent an email or an update about the product delay. When contacted, their customer service apologized and said I would receive an email with the tracking once it was ready. It is now two weeks later and have heard nothing. Writing this review on May 27th.

Food is amazing, our pup gobbles it up as we are putting it in the bowl. Shipping and arrival time is suffering.

I have a Bernese Mountain dog with a sensitive stomach. He was constantly eating dirt. This is the only food he has been on that has not upset his stomach and has completely stopped him from devouring dirt. BUT, you purchase the product and receive emails telling you the product is in process to be shipped.... for weeks! The few bags of food I did receive ran out and now I'm back to his old food and a sick dog as the swapping back and forth has completely upset his digestive system. There is no transparency with this company. If product is not available, do not take on a new customer (I am a new customer). You set an expectation that you cannot meet. Stop advertising, and advertising deep discounts, when you do not have food available for even your regular customers. My latest communication with customer service (which I'm lucky they replied to as many phone calls and emails have gone unanswered; I've been kept on hold for over an hour before finally hanging up) was an email saying they are out of stock, completely. How is that possible? Companies no longer feel like they have a responsibility to their customers. At the very least, a communication to your customers explaining the problem and alerting them to needing alternative solutions is necessary, BEFORE there is a problem. Stop taking orders if you cannot fulfill them, or be transparent and let the customer know it will be weeks or months before the order can be filled. This company claims to care about dogs, they certainly do not show it in how they communicate and the problems they have caused for many dogs, I'm sure, that comes from switching foods multiple times and without warning. This is a premium brand, but certainly does not act like one.

Sundays! Dude! My pup has been out of food for weeks, shipping delayed, out of stock on his flavor, and I run out before the time frame, because he is 70lbs, super active, and the recommended amount to give him is not accurate. I went to my vet and asked. She told me I was under feeding him and I’ve never seen him beg for food before the way he has. Plus, the cost?! And look… I knew it wasn’t going to be cheap. I wanted to get my fur baby food that is quality and the overall product seems good. But between being told to supplement his diet when he’s got a very sensitive stomach, due to the constant delays, and shortage of the specific product I order, it’s not worth what you’re asking. I’ve cancelled my subscription. I think you have a great idea but your customer service, quality, communication and delivery delays are too much for me to figure out how to maneuver around to keep my dog fed and happy. It’s super disappointing. I hope you figure things out cause your name is all you have and so far, from what I’m seeing, you’re not treating it or those who believed in your vision with respect.

The main issue is production (ordering, shipping/delivery). My dogs love the food, but the company cannot sustain the product availability and does not seem to have the know-how (supply chain) to improve. It does not make sense.

After reading the latest reviews I am more frustrated than before with this company. I chose them because I liked their concept and the food has been good quality. That being said, their inability to maintain their supply chain is unacceptable. Their response that it has been shipped but is "awaiting carrier pick up" (for 6 days) is a poor excuse to try and deflect from their obvious production issues. And their claim they are "reducing their advertising" is BS as I am continuing to be propositioned by them every time I open my email or social media account. My puppy has once again run out of food and this is completely unacceptable. I too will be looking for a new source.

I ordered food over 3 weeks ago. It wasn't shipped on time, and then I got an email saying they were behind on their deliveries but it would be shipped by the end of the week. Then it still didn't come, and after I emailed them asking for a new ETA, they said they were out of the flavor I ordered but if I wanted turkey they could send me that one because they had it in stock, and I responded saying yes, please send me turkey instead. Then they said they don't actually have that in stock, they can just send me a couple samples to tide me over until any food became available again (which they provided no timeline for). At this point I already spent a lot on small bags of food from my dog's normal brand to keep tiding me over, and then ordered a big bag of food because I was tired of spending money on the small bags, which kept running out. There's no phone number I could find, so I emailed Sundays back asking to just cancel my order and get reimbursed at this point. Three days later, I get a notification that the food shipped. I don't need it. I have an enormous bag of Acana on the way, plus I ordered Badlands Ranch food, which already timely shipped the day after I ordered it. Is Sundays some sort of scam? It's really expensive, and for that price you'd expect some sort of customer service. I feel taken advantage of. They also make it really hard to cancel your membership; you have to click through so many questions first, and some of them are not optional. I'm really disappointed by this company.

Buyer Beware….Sundays for Dogs is not reliable! I’ve been on autoship for 9 months with Sundays for dogs for my 2 Cavapoos and we’ve had consist problems. My dogs are currently completely out of food, I emailed asking where our order was when I realized it never arrived last week. Sundays responded with…. “I want to be transparent with you. Currently, we're fresh out of our Chicken Recipe, but please don't worry – it'll be back in stock soon.” True Transparency would have been communication BEFORE customers run out of food. We had no warning to help our pups transition to a new food source. If anyone has a great recommendation for an alternative to Sunday’s I’m looking for a new reliable food source for Ace & Blu the Cavapoos! They do love the Sundays food, when it actually arrives, but I can’t keep babysitting the orders to make sure our pups have food.

I got three 72-oz bags of Beef recipe three days ago (auto-ship). My 7 m.o. puppy had been on this same food and the same amount of food for over two months with no digestive problems. After he ate his first meal out of the new bag, he got diarrhea. When I opened the second bag, he got diarrhea again. I'm not going to experiment with this dog food anymore. I canceled my subscription, and I need my money back. This company does not reply to emails, even though they say to be contacted via email as well as phone; it has been impossible to reach them over the phone in the last couple of days. Really bad customer service and bad product.

The worst customer service and shipping service EVER! You can never get a human on the phone and the food never comes on time. My fur baby loves the food but they don’t care if your dog don’t eat if the food is late. Their answer is feed chickens and rice until the food arrives! And to think a veterinarian invented this dog food! I’m so done with this company!!!!

Subscription-based dog foods remove grain from the dog food so it tastes like treats for them. Once the dog is hooked then the customer is hooked onto their subscription service and now the dog food company has pricing power over the customer. I regret opening the Pandora's box on Internet/Instagram dog food brands where they have little competition in their niches (eg, air-dried, freeze-dried). The current off the shelf dog food is great. Don't buy Sunday's if your dog is currently eating fine. Sundays is a fine option if your dog isn't eating any food and you failed with all other non-subscription options. The lack of transparency with how much Sundays subscription will cost the customer before you go through their customer acquisition funnel is signs this is a well gamed internet/ad targeting business.

After my pups tried the free sample, and liked it, I made my first order on 30 Mar 24. After several emails, one with Jeremy, my order has still not been filled, and my emails have not been answered! This poor customer service is unacceptable and must be corrected! Also, There is obviously a problem with your ordering system that needs addressing as well! If this cannot be remedied in a timely matter, I will be forced to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere!

I ordered a box on expedited 2 day shipping because my pup was eating more and was almost out of his Sundays food. I was only emailed 5 days later apologizing about the delay and was told on March 27th that it was sent out for over night shipping. Here we are on March 29th and my pup is still without his normal day to day Sundays food. For me it’s not ideal to feed my dog a rice and chicken diet to sub not having his food. I’m beyond furious because this company is messing with the nutrition of my pup. I’m really considering researching another air dry food for my pup. He’s the most important thing in the world to us which is why we feed him such expensive nutrition. He comes first, but apparently to Sundays his nutrition is not being valued. Do better Sundays for dogs. So better. I don’t care about a discount or a free small dinky bag of food. I care that my puppy is getting his proper nutrition.

My dog doesn’t like it. If I have to doctor it up I might as well spend less money. I’d like to cancel my subscription. Thanks. I’m sure some dogs like it. But it’s not for mine.

My picky eater is no longer picky. He gobbles his food down and licks his chops afterward. Thank you Sundays!

For the price, there should be way more consistency with your dog food. Some bags are very dry and stale. Also had mold in one that seemed very old.

I have been feeding my dog Tillie, 10 lbs, for over a year. They have constant problems with shipping. Tillie kept running out of food and their food was not delivered on time. The last time I asked them to refund my money because my sweet little girl would be without food for a week. (their fault, created just a shipping label, with no food) making me believe her food would be here soon. They refused to refund me, charged me, when I had to go spend more money and donate her food just so you could eat. HIGHLY DO NOT recommend. They care about profit, not their customers nor your fur babies.

The food seems fresh but don’t be fooled when estimating the cost. A bag of food, going by Sundays recommendations only lasts 9 days. That is 1/2 cup per day which is what they say should be the serving. So it’s $75 every 9 days…definitely misleading when ordering. The 40ounce bag also comes with 36ounces clearly marked on the bag.

The customer support is lackluster. I had an issue saving my credit card to continue my subscription plan. I went round and round via text because their website says that is the quickest response. I asked for someone to call me to provide support. Nobody called. With so many high-end air-dried foods now available at the market, Sundays will need to improve their customer support. If the only way to buy their food is online, their customer support should be supreme. I canceled my subscription, and I will no longer recommend this brand to others.

Expensive especially when you have multiple large dogs. Also, I don’t feel like the feeding guide is accurate. I have to feed much more than recommended or the my dogs seem emaciated.
