Stasher Bag wins praise in reviews for durable, leak-resistant silicone storage that replaces single‑use plastic, performs in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even sous vide, and comes in versatile, space‑saving sizes and colors. However, many reviewers flag persistent drawbacks: tough-to-clean seams, slow drying that can lead to odors or mildew, occasional staining or smell retention, tricky openings, and rare tears or imperfect seals with liquids—making bowls/stand-up styles preferred for ease of use.

  • I love the idea of these storage bags, but I rarely reach for them. Especially good for travel items, but they are difficult to wash and take a while to dry completely. The seal holds well, which is impressive!

  • I recently got a few of these stashed bags and absolutely love them. My husband and I try not to use disposable bags often, but realized how often we use them for certain leftovers, which is terrible for the environment. The stasher bags are great for being more sustainable and are worth the investment as they save you money in the long run! It is a bit annoying to have the clean them but they do wipe down and clean very easily. Overall recommend!

  • Love these bags for organizing. I did put tweezers in a small one and it tore but as long as you don’t use sharp objects they are great and can be turned inside out for washing.

  • These bags are so perfect for literally any kind of storage, and I've stopped using disposable bags in my home completely. I have stashers in so many different colors and sizes that I use for leftovers, packing snacks, holding dog treats, and my favorite use has been for freezing! I was pretty nervous to use them for freezing soups, but it's my all-time favorite use-case now! The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because of the price. I've only purchased them on sale.

  • I really like this brand. I love the colors and the quality is great as well.

  • I currently have a number of them and they are great! Dishwasher safe, microwave safe. So many sizes big and small so really no excuse to use non reusable!

  • I love packing my own snack for me and my son and this is the best sustainable item I have purchased. Before this I used to carry a zipper bag everywhere but always felt guilty of using them. Now the stasher bag goes with us everywhere, we use them for traveling all the time. The fruits stay fresh for days which make them great for storage too.

  • These are a dream for someone who hastes to contribute to the accumulating waste that comes from having kids and needing convenience! The amount of ziplock bags that are gone through, many of which are barely used, made me embrace these reusable pouches. Perfect for lunches, both for the kids AND my husband, these bags are ideal. Plus, not needing to frequently purchase disposable bags saves money in the long run. My only complaint is that they are difficult to get dry after washing so it’s necessary to have quite a few pouches in order to guarantee a few dry ones every day.

  • I love the idea of an eco-friendly replacement to single-use Ziploc-type bags, and Stasher does a great job at creating high-quality products that work. The only downside is the price. I've only gotten Stasher bags when they go on sale, but even then, I've found multiple brands with the same product that work just as well. And for half the price. In the long run, Stasher bags are probably a good investment, but if you're financially struggling they're not 100% worth the money.

  • Does the job but I prefer the ziptop bags. I found the stasher bags hard to wash, dry, and don’t hold a lot.

  • these are great! my only point of contention is how hard they can be to wash and fully dry to avoid molding.

  • These are wonderful. Great alternative to disposable bags and fun colors, as well. I like the no toxic silicone feature.

  • Love the concept, but find these hard to keep clean, ultimately defeating the recycling purpose.

  • These are a nice way to cut down on plastic waste. They tend to take up the smell of detergent in the dishwasher, so they're best washed by hand. But I've had my Stasher bag for about a year and it's still working great!

  • Great aesthetic and love that it’s reusable and easy to wash

  • I love the quality and consistency of Stasher bags. They're very durable and the thickness of the silicone lets me pack lunches into my work bag securely, without of the worry of it getting punctured and spilling. My only complaint is the price point. These are very expensive for a silicone ziploc. If their mission is about sustainability, they'd attract more people to try reusable bags, they should make it more approachable to the average consumer.

  • These bags are a great solution for those trying to use less plastic. I use these for everything, including freezing soups and other meal items, carrying chips, bringing lunch to work. I have found that they’re very easy to clean in the dishwasher if you prop them up on spikes in the bottom rung, open enough so water can get through. Absolutely recommend. These are indestructible.
