We recently purchased a pair of Sonos Five speakers as well as a refurbished Sonos Arc. I use them together with the Fives in bookshelves on either side of our TV and with the Arc mounted below the TV on a Mantel Mount. They sound exceptional when playing a wide variety of music with an enormous soundstage. They sound particularly excellent with Dolby Atmos/spatial audio tracks, and I have been very impressed by the bass output of the Fives. When I pair the three speakers through the SonoSequencr app (not made by Sonos) with the Arc as a center channel and the Fives as fronts, the trio performs amazingly as a home theater set up, with the Fives contributing to floor rumbling bass when that is of interest. The Arc performs very well as an isolated soundbar as well, with a wide sound stage and immersive audio. I change the arrangement that the speakers are configured to playback in depending on the use case. I moved to this setup from a traditional Yamaha receiver with ELAC bookshelf speakers, and I am very pleased by the ease of use and sound quality. I highly recommend Sonos products!
