Soft Services earns strong reviews for delivering visible results—its Buffing Bar, Carea Cream, and Clearing Mist consistently smooth KP, soften texture, and calm irritation—while sleek, sustainable packaging delights. Reviews also flag drawbacks: Theraplush’s polarizing scent and occasional stickiness, reports of stale/odd smells and a past mold-related recall, plus mixed feedback on Speed Soak and Smoothing Solution (residue, tackiness).

great product. very high qualitly.
The Buffing Bar is the only thing that has ever worked to clear my intractable KP – including laser hair removal.

Truly nothing, I’m a ride-or-die fan of SS now.
I'm impressed by how immediately effective these products are! The lotion and gel became everyday staples within a week. It's very apparent that every detail has been thought through — from the purchasing flow to unboxing, packaging, and ingredient education.

The exfoliating bar is nice, though I find it hard to moderate the pressure — it's almost too good, and wouldn't be great for those with sensitive skin.

Sorry to say I had a troubling experience with this brand that left a bad taste in my mouth. I was a big fan and ordered several units of Theraplush as Christmas gifts. In March I was notified by email that the brand was receiving customer reports of mold growth inside the product, and that I should cease use & discard all units purchased. (It also said the brand would halt production and sale of the product—I don't know how much public transparency there was or wasn't around all this.) Bummer that I had given out contaminated products as gifts and had to inform the recipients, but things do happen. I still may have continued to be a customer if Soft Services hadn't also said that refunds would only be administered by request and the customer would have to get in touch to claim theirs. Why would you not automatically refund everyone for a defective, and potentially *unsafe*, product—especially after telling them to get rid of it? I'm sure people missed this email—seeing a refund in their account would have been another way to get their attention, btw—and it's hard not to think the brand was hoping that by adding in some extra steps, not everyone would submit a claim. Maybe this wouldn't be a dealbreaker for everyone but I just lost trust in the brand between my concern about product quality/testing/manufacturing standards + the way the brand approaches customer care. Real shame because a lot of the other products get such great reviews!

I've only tried the Buffing Bar, but I really enjoyed it. They also send promotional emails that feel very personalized; maybe they are, but you never know with le marketing. The packaging is lovely. Will try more products when wallet allows.

This brand is really beautiful and the products work! I love how Carea Cream leaves my skin hydrated and soft. It's worth the hype.

Have had the pleasure of using the buffing bar regularly, housing it in the lovely accompanying tray; and using a variety of lotions. What a product! From the ingredients, to the packaging, to the site and community — if only there were more than 5 stars to give.

Ship to Canada, please!! For now, I’ll just have to trek down south of the border for my fix. (I know the law makes this easier said than done.)
