SmartSweets earns largely positive reviews as a lower‑sugar candy that satisfies cravings—standouts include Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, red twists, and gummy worms—while recurring complaints in reviews cite an extremely sticky, tooth‑clinging texture and occasional odd or stevia‑like aftertaste. Reviews also note inconsistent chew across flavors and batches, plus some GI sensitivity for a few users; if you want a healthier candy fix and can accept a different chew, SmartSweets is a compelling swap, but purists may prefer the originals.

  • I love Smart Sweets!! My favorite ones are the sour gummies. I love how little sugar they have and they taste so good for being "healthy sweets".

  • It was okay for a low sugar candy the taste was good it just the texture was horrible and mad it off putting to eat

Fix the texture from soft wet circus peanuts and it will be goid

  • Close recreation to whichever candy it's recreating, macro-friendly, and it helps if I'm craving candy.

    Feedback

Tends to be very sticky and expensive.

  • Extremely tasty! I can't get enough and it is guilt-free. Low in sugar, so you can satisfy your sweet tooth.

  • Founds the smart sweets gummy bears just okay. Snack packs are small and overpriced. Prefer if they were more sour.

    Feedback

Price point for the amount of product per pack. Or make larger bulk packs.

  • Honestly pretty gross. I understand what the brand is trying to do, and maybe for the right person it could be a hit, but I would never feel satisfied if I had a candy craving and took a bite out of this.

  • These are an a-okay candy alternative for folks looking to reduce their sugar intake. Ultimately, I think they’re a great option for people who have health issues that require a low sugar diet. For anyone else, I’d say just eat a normal piece of candy.

    Feedback

The gummies don’t have a classic “gummy” consistency. They’re on the tougher side. Also not a fan of their red fish candy — the flavor doesn’t mimic that of a Swedish Fish at all.

  • I really liked these at first as an alternative to gummy candies. But after eating a bag, my stomach started hurting in a way it doesn't from that amount of candy - possibly from the artificial sugar. But the taste was great!

  • They are okay for what they are trying to be. As a replacement for regular sweets with low sugar, they've nailed it BUT flip them over and check the nutrition facts and you'll see the carb attack if you're not watching carbs good for you, but if you are, these are not a good replacement.

  • These taste great but as a type one diabetic the carbs are the same as normal candy
