SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

They should put a warning for the insane amount of fiber. Make sure you chug water with these!! The taste is good but the texture makes them get stuck in teeth.

SmartSweets are a tasty alternative to regular candy, with way less sugar but still plenty of flavor! They satisfy a sweet craving without the sugar crash, and the gummy texture is surprisingly good. Perfect if you’re looking for a candy fix without all the guilt.

Hit or miss with sweet smarts. Gummy bears and worms are not the best but peach rings are delicious! Very expensive for the amount you get though
They taste good, i like the fact that they have less sugar. The gummy is a bit hard, but I don't mind it. I like this product but I don't love it. It does satisfy your sugar craving. If I ever want a gummy I would buy this option other any other one.
My sister and I absolutely adore these candies. So good for so much less guilt! Highly reccomend the Barbie ones!
If you’re looking for a candy alternative is this a good choice. The only downside is they are a little hard to chew and the sugar/sour tends to fall off just leaving the candy which can be disappointing. Would recommend if you are looking for a healthy alternative.
FINALLY! A delicious snack I can indulge in and not feel guilty about eating every last bite. The flavor is delicious and I always find myself grabbing a bag whenever I’m at the store.
Very good and very low sugar. The new recipe made them (the Sweet Fish and Sour Blast Buddies) taste very close to the products they are imitating.
These are tasty, don't love all products though. The gummy worms and "swedish fish" and caramels are my favorite. Don't love the peach rings or sour watermelon, they have a chemical taste. Some of their candies are a little too chewy or not sweet enough for me. At least I feel healthy eating them.

The sugar substitute stevia has a strong taste for me. It sounds like others aren’t as sensitive as I am but I can’t get past the bitter aftertaste. It’s worth a try to see if you like it but wish I couldn’t taste the difference.
Love candy! Some of these are very good some are a miss! The idea behind them being a sweet with as little sugar as possible is appealing for those of us who have a serious sweet tooth but not all of them are a win.
Deceptive as there is nothing smart about these sweets.

Love the smart sweets flavors. So fun to have a healthier option of childhood favorite Gummies, like the soda bottles and Swedish fish.
I’ve tried the red fish, peach rings, and sour buddies. They’re not awful by any means, but they really need to stop comparing themselves to Swedish fish and sour patch kids because they’re nothing like either. They taste alright and I will eat some if my friends or family have opened a pack. But I just don’t think I get it.
Nice to have this as an option but these are NOT good. They just make me want real candy. Thanks for trying, I still have hope.
As a person who has sugar tooth, these are a really great alternative. You wouldn't say they are low-sugar, they are incredibly tasty and I love the range of products. Also, cool packaging (spoke as a true marketing girlie hahah).
So delicious, I love the textures, and they have nailed the flavors so you honestly think you're eating the OG real thing.
