I tried this brand a couple of weeks ago. I found it to be excellent tasting for the lower sugar option. I tried both the sour and the regular and enjoyed both. I think the health benefits made them worth the extra cost.

Rotten makes low-sugar regular and sour gummy worms featuring real fruit and sustainable packaging.

4.4
Rotten delivers a clearly effective product: reviews show the gummies work as a lower-sugar, clean-ingredient alternative with standout branding but mixed flavor and texture execution. Strengths include compostable packaging and nostalgic, clever marketing; weaknesses include uneven flavor distribution, inconsistent sour intensity, gummy texture variance, and small portion size — useful for buyers who prioritize cleaner ingredients and brand experience but want stronger sourness and consistent batches.

I really love both the branding as well as the worms themselves. I do wish the sour worms were a bit more sour, but I can't complain. I love that these don't have anything artificial in them either.

I got to try these worms at their release party and they're great!! I think others have echoed this, but the improvements have been wonderful. The branding is spot on and they do a fantastic job keeping in line with the idea of being cool but still being good for you - unlike the traditional clean colors/branding that comes with other "good for you" brands. I'm really excited to see how Rotten continues to develop!

Rotten is my favorite brand for sour gummy candy. I like how many retailers I shop at carries their candy. The sour worms are mildly sour but not too much so, that I can let my toddlers enjoy some alongside me. This candy is similar to other products but fruit juice and no dyes are used.
