Reviews mention

  • Transparent, traceable ingredient sourcing
  • Gentle, delayed‑release capsules
  • Pleasant mint or citrus essence
  • Smooth, non‑gritty protein powder
  • Overpowering minty capsule aftertaste
  • Occasional fishy vitamin burps
  • Mixed, inconsistent efficacy reports
  • Wasteful recurring plastic bottles

Ritual earns largely positive reviews for well-sourced, traceable multivitamins, easy-on-the-stomach capsules, and a mint or citrus essence that makes daily use pleasant; many users report steadier energy, less bloating with Synbiotic+, and prenatal tolerance. However, reviews also flag strong mint/fishy aftertaste, mixed efficacy (some feel no difference), occasional bloating or reactions, and sustainability gripes over recurring plastic bottles and hard-to-modify subscriptions.

  • The packaging was good, but I don't know if I needed a multivitamin. Customer service was good and it was easy to pause or cancel the subscription

    Feedback

Lack of personalization - I wasn't sure if the ingredients were things that I actually needed supplements for.

  • Neat way to get your daily vitamins

    Feedback

The mint aftertaste that keeps it fresh barely masks the taste of fish oil

  • Not a fan of the women's multivitamin. I felt VERY bloated after taking this vitamin for a couple of weeks. I had my husband try the men's and he had the same issue. I would pass on this for sure.

  • Beautiful bottle, high quality product, fast shipping. Also they do a good job of keeping you subscribed - offering discounts when you go to cancel.

    Not the easiest subscription management

  • I hate taking pills but the Ritual ones are so easy to swallow! I take the prenatal vitamin and the citrus scent is really refreshing. You don't get that gross "pill taste."

Sometimes the shipments don't always go out on time.

  • I was sold on brand and mission when it came to ritual. I had worked in the vitamin space and wanted to put this innovative product to the test. When I was on my third pregnancy I decided to give it a go (2019). It is very easy to buy and keep the subscription running. I would say its the best customer experience I have had with a subscription- pause and cancel functionality were great. They clearly understand that sometimes you have a bad month and don't take all your vitamins. I did not feel any particular differences compared to existing prenatal vitamins. I did enjoy the mint after taste / flavor they baked in so the fish oil was not as dominating as an after taste. It did make me wonder about what additive was in there to provide that aftertaste. You freak out about everything when pregnant! All up- I discontinued my subscription before I was done with my pregnancy because I had a lot left over to take me into the post birth period and then I transitioned back to other vitamins.

The actual product does not look as photographed- I think they may have changed it between photographing and when I got the product. It is extremely expensive. I went back to other options post pregnancy that involved fish oil + Vit D + multi as separate items. In the reading I did, sometimes having these in the pure form can be more beneficial. But obviously the usage experience not as great.

  • Huge fan of Ritual vitamins! Remember those Orbitz drinks from the 90s? I bought Ritual vitamins because they look like small little Orbitz capsules that taste like peppermint. Each little ball floating in some goo. Every time I take them I say, "Hey little balls, take good care of my insides!". I swish some water around, swallow, and then imagine the capsule is the Magic Schoolbus traveling from my mouth to my stomach, each little ball exploring the depths of my pancreas all the way down to my littlest toe. I realize that's not exactly what happens, but whatever. Do they actually do anything? IDK! Does anyone know if multi-vitamins do anything? They make me feel mentally good and I think that's good enough. Oh! And they allow me to cancel and postpone shipments online and that's all I ever want.

Make the little balls multicolor for a real party, please!!!!!

  • I liked the packaging and quality of ingredients. However the overall ingredients in the vitamins were lacking I still needed to take multiple vitamins to get everything I needed or multiple capsules which was over whelming.

  • Do I love spending $85 on vitamins every month? No, but it's worth it. I started using the Prenatal early this year and added the Synbiotic+. Both are the easiest vitamins I've ever taken. The smell is a huge factor for me, and the lemon and mint aromas are great. The Synbiotic has really helped with digestive issues—I even recommended them to my gastroenterologist father!

  • I love my Ritual Prenatal vitamins, the light lemon scent is so pleasant and it’s so convenient that they’re sent right to my door.

  • Expensive and tastes like minty fish oil! I hate the taste of fish oil, but if I have to have it I’d rather it not be minty. Whole thing feels a bit gimicky.

Pricey and the taste is horrible

  • Beautiful ig-worthy packaging but otherwise just heavily overpriced vitamins you can get 10 times cheaper in the drug store.

  • Easy to take, easy to chance or push back subscription when needed. I love Ritual Vitamins!

Price of new probiotic product is a little high, I was otherwise considering to add to my subscription

  • I’ve been using ritual for my prenatal. Love the lemon taste and sensitive to my tummy. Very rare so I get the fishy aftertaste, and if I do it’s minimal and doesn’t last long.

  • The biggest obstacle for me taking vitamins is the taste, I can’t stand it. The minty flavor was the biggest selling point for me, and it really did block any of the nasty tastes vitamins leave. It also looks really appealing so taking them is more appealing, and I’ve always had trouble keeping up with taking medicine, but this really helped motivate me.

  • I love their product over all. It has a great minty taste usually but I have noticed sometimes the pills just taste fishy and gross, not minty. But overall the product is great, I notice a difference when I take it consistently over time and the cost is good also! They are also super transparent about the ingredients. I love having just one multivitamin to cover most of my bases!

Sometimes some pills in the bottle don't have a minty taste but taste fishy instead. I would also love a packaging deal for you new probiotic where if you get both the vitamin and the symbiotic pill you get both at an discount and you get an additional discount if you automate!

  • It’s hard with vitamins to see a difference but I don’t burp nastiness like some vitamins like this will do.

  • Been taking ritual prenatal vitamins and post natal vitamins through out my pregnancy. Love that they are not huge and are easily digestable.

    Feedback

Loved the citrus essence used in the prenatal, wish you could use this instead of mint with the other vitamins you sell.

  • Have been taking ritual womens multi vitamin for over a year and love it. The subscription service is great. Tried the vanilla protein powder as well and it taste better than most protein powders I have tried.

  • Ritual has given me a new ritual—actually taking my vitamins every day. I also love that the company offers products that can adapt to your changing lifestyle as you grow with the company. From everyday vitamins to prenatal, postnatal, etc. they allow you to stay with the brand as you change life stages which is awesome. I think the taste and consistency of the vitamins are fine, not too lemony, and not too fishy. I think the earlier formulations may have been a bit fishy but IMO they've definitely fixed that.
