Decided to jump on the Remarkable Paper Pro soon after they released it. I’d never owned a tablet, let alone a e-ink tablet before. I got it in hopes of organising my life and being the productive person I always assumed I could be. I doubt anyone is here for my productivity journey, but here are some pros ans cons I’ve found after 3 months: Pros: - writes and draws very naturally. No lag to complain about there - colors are a great addition to make everything pop and more fun - works with epub books and PDFs (now I have moved all the stuff I was going to read ”later” to a folder on my reMarkable in hopes I would finally read them. Some day, some day…) - portable. Slim and fits nicely in a bag - battery life is good. Rarely have to charge it, even after not using it for a month - cloud sync works well to add stuff on their web interface to be beemed to my device Cons: - in some occasions it bugs out and leaves ghosts of stuff or artifacts - have to pay for their cloud storage thing (it is quite cheap per month at least) - got a stain on my cover, not sure how to get it off - moving between pages is a bit difficult - the drawing controls (buttons) are a bit unintuitive and clunky - didnt change my life I don’t regret buying it though. I wish I had done some research before purchase to compare the alternatives, as it was pretty expensive.
