I love discovering new sparkling water and if they have any extra benefits, it's a cherry on top. I tried the "calm, cool, collected" flavor. I don't normally like added sugar but it was a tasty sweet treat and something I would occasionally indulge in. I am waiting to see if I truly feel calm but the adaptogens can only help, not hurt.

I love recess! I have only tried the lemon citrus powder and I'm obsessed. I am the type of person who takes forever to fall asleep. Nothing really helped me until I had a friend recommend recess. I figured I would give it a try and I love it. I can't wait to try other flavors. Absolutely recommend it!! 

My doctor's office stocks Recess drinks and I always look forward to drinking them. Most of the flavors I like, but there are a few (usually cherry or some of the more black tea-forward ones) that I don't love. My favorites are from the Mood series, especially Strawberry Rose. I don't notice a huge difference in how I feel, so I wouldn't drink these if I specifically wanted something to make me feel more calm.

the flavors are slightly hit or miss. blackberry chai is my favorite. i genuinely feel the calming effects, i attribute it to the L-theanine. drinking one of these after work is so much better than a glass of wine. i'd give anything to find these in stores near me! ordering soda online just feels over the top.

I have no interest in dry January and I barely drink as it is. All that said, the mocktails from Recess are good any month of the year and in any setting. The mule and the marg stand out for me. I will definitely be adding these to my regular beverage rotation.

Really like the concept of Recess' mood-altering products. I have tried the original Recess drink and mood powder. My favorite drink flavors were blackberry chai and peach ginger. Recently I tried the mood powder as well. The taste was great, it blended really well but I didn't really feel the effects. Will have to come back to this review after a couple more tries! I'd give the drinks a 4/5 and the powder a 3/5

Recess drinks are a bit of a letdown with their lackluster flavors. I was hoping for more variety and excitement, especially cuz I see ads everywhere, but they fell flat in that department.

I wanted to like this, but I can’t see what the hype is all about. Didn’t have much flavor and had no effect on me at all.  Will not purchase again for these reasons. 

I've been working on reducing my alcohol intake over the past year, and Recess mocktails have become my go-to. Sipping on these has transformed my social drinking habits, and I couldn't recommend them more. The Paloma alternative is a must-try for anyone looking to cut down on alcoholic beverages. 11/10 

Flavor was okay, I got blood orange and did not really think it was mindblowing. As for the effects, I dont know if it was placebo, but I did feel "lighter" while drinking it.

Maybe it's placebo but I think these actually work? I first tried one of these during a work day, and I genuinely felt less stressed and more calm. 

I love their branding and aesthetic — I want to be seen holding this, ya know? Besides the look, the taste is 10/10. I'm a sucker for a flavored sparkling water. Blood orange is my favorite. 

My only complaint is the price. I think I paid $8 for one of these at a bodega in NYC. I'm sorry but that's INSANE. I didn't realize it was so expensive until I was checking out so I had to go through with my purchase — after trying it, I wasn't necessarily mad about my purchase, though. The price is the only thing keeping me from being a frequent repeat customer. Instead, I use Recess as more of a delicacy — only buying it on special occasions when I'm having a night in and want to feel extra relaxed.  

Recently tried one of these before bed. Strawberry rose flavor actually smelled stronger than the taste. Smells like a lollipop, no hint of rose.
It was good and calming, not a buzz thing.
$3.29 a can so I won't likely buy again 

Recess has helped me immensely during sobriety! Every flavor I have tried is delicious and refreshing. My favorite is the strawberry rose.  I do wish it was a little cheaper, and thats why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. Thank you Recess!

Gorgeous packaging and all of the flavors have been nice but I personally have felt no calming effects and feel that it’s really just an expensive can of sparkling water with a gimmick. 

I usually buy an entire case of sparkling water for $5 so when I pay that for a single can I really expect it to not only taste incredible but actually have the effects that are being claimed on the can as well. 

Just tried this for the first time (Peach Ginger flavor) a great option if you like sparkling water but want something just a tad sweeter with some extra adaptogens in them. Wouldn't probably go out of my way to keep this stocked but wouldn't turn it away if it was offered to me. Also a company that does a great job and brand merch (check out realitywear on their site)
