quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

I love the aesthetic of my toothbrush and reusable flosser, as well as having my refills automated so I don’t have to remember to get more!
Feedback
I think it could be a bit more affordable, but it’s manageable for me.

I’ve been using them for over 4 years. As soon as my toothbrush broke they sent me a new one for free. I love how I don’t have to think about it and always have a fresh toothbrush!

works super well, love that you can replace the brush heads when needed

I've had a quip brush for years for years and I love the convince of it! I don't have to even think about buying a new tooth brush anymore. The only downside is that it's difficult to change out the heads.
Feedback
I feel like it would be awesome if they included a sanitizing holder, or the option to order a new one. I've had the same holder for years and even though I clean it, I'm sure it's not actually clean.

I thought I was onto something here - this was my first electric toothbrush and my dentist told me after about two years of using this regularly my gums and teeth were worse off than had I continued manually brushing. Toothbrush functionality aside I hated their auto refill plan and they don’t provide customer service unless you pay for the auto refill plan. The new top was nice but I hated their toothpaste and felt obligated to keep using it because they kept sending it. My brush top snapped off the handle and took a piece of the plastic base with it - effectively rendering my toothbrush unusable - and they told me I was lucky I was on a refill plan because otherwise I’d be out of luck. I now use an Oral B electric toothbrush and can totally feel a difference.

I’d make the plans tiered so you can pick and choose what you’d like in your monthly subscription. Also maybe the shape of the brush head or something? Talk to a dental hygienist on this one I think.

Storing of the toothbrush

I have had my quip for about 5 years now. I enjoyed the subscription of sending a new brush head and battery every three months.

Sometimes shipping was off and I didn’t receive the brush head for a few months. Also after my recent dentist visit, he told me the difference between quip and other electronic toothbrushes. This quip isn’t suggested by dentists as it just vibrates. I am switching to a different brand of electronic toothbrushes but will probably keep my quip for travel.

I desperately wanted to like Quip because well it looks lovely. I’ve tried just about every product they have. When using the toothpaste my mouth and teeth were never clean, they felt smooth but over time developed terrible bacteria that went away almost immediately after switching back to drug store toothpaste. The toothbrush had little to no vibration and the Phillips One was so much better. The floss broke upon almost every use. The mouthwash I love the packaging but now just fill it with normal mouthwash because it had the same effect as the toothpaste.

I’m not a fan of manual toothbrushes because of the feel on my teeth. This just feels like a regular toothbrush wish a minor vibrate.
Feedback
This brush has actually been discouraged by my dentist for not cleaning well.

Unremarkable. Very well branded, but the toothbrush doesn't live up to the hype. If you are looking for a powerful toothbrush, this isn't the one. If you brush regularly the bristles will wear down and the toothbrush will be flat before Quip's refill service sends you a new head. Looks great though and it is very easy to pick up refills in person.

Used one of these for an extended period of time a few years ago. It was a pretty “average” experience, hence the three star review. Pros: slimmer than typical electric toothbrush, price point is more accessible than many electric toothbrushes, cute colors, battery powered (as opposed to charger), subscription service, 2 minute timer Cons: difficult to change batteries/brush heads, stopped working altogether in less than a year, subscription service wasn’t spectacular Overall, I liked the product but not enough to repurchase when it stopped working.

Nice packaging. Nice design. Actual product does not clean well enough between teeth but a decent short term toothbrush.
Feedback
Better bristles.

I like how sleek this toothbrush is along with the finishes it comes in, very stylish. I very much enjoy the timing aspect of this product and the fact that it comes with its own travel cover, most others don’t offer that.
Feedback
Making it easier to take apart and replace parts/battery

I bought the all over black one thinking I could attach it to the app. It wouldn’t attach, so it was pointless. I like the bristles on the toothbrush but it feels more like the handle vibrates than the bristles. It’s a glorified toothbrush is all.
Feedback
The bristles need to be vibrating to really clean.

The atheistic and buzz reminder are great, however I feel like it does not clean as well as some of my 5 dollar tooth brushes.
Feedback
Having more scrubbers with more cleaning power.

I've had my quip for ahout 2 years now. I really enjoy the ease of swapping out the heads and batteries. However, I wish they offered more products for oral care and less gimmicks. Sometimes the shipping takes a while.

I love my quip! I like the clean look as well as the fact that it doesn't have to rest on a charger. My dentist even commented on how well my teeth are. Easy to use. The dental floss re-fill is very easy as well.

I like this toothbrush which I got as a Christmas gift. I love the look, sleek design etc., but I don’t feel like I’m getting a thorough cleaning.
Feedback
Brush feels a bit small and too soft.

I was hesitant to switch to using Quip but I've loved my experience so far. I feel like this brush does a much better job than my previous toothbrush. I purchased the brush with a bluetooth option and have loved earning points for simply brushing my teeth. It makes it a bit more fun! I also love the ease and convenience of new brush heads being sent to me so I don't have to worry about remembering to replace my brush head. All in all I really enjoy Quip!
