  • Weak cleaning vibration

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • I used a quip toothbrush for several years. The aesthetic is nice but a sonicare cleans SO much better. I also don’t love that quip requires battery replacements instead of having a rechargeable battery. My quip eventually stopped working after about 4 years. When I went back to Sonicare I couldn’t believe the difference in cleaning quality.

  • I've been using a Quip brush for a few years now and I've been mostly happy the entire time. In that time I've also picked up one of their refillable floss picks. The brush is nice enough - pretty simple but compact and easy to hang on the bathroom mirror. It also travels well, with the base also serving as a handy travel case. The subscription is the best part - I don't have to think about when I need to change my brush head as it automatically comes in the mail along with a new battery. The only issue I have is I wish they had different brush head shapes - I tend to like one that is a bit larger than the standard quip head. The floss pick dispenser is great, as well! Compact and you use much less floss than the traditional method - it's all the convenience of a floss pick (and more) without the wasteful disposable plastic. I've also tried the Quip toothpase - it's good enough, I tend to prefer a sensitive toothpase so I don't use it every day, but it's convenient to include on my refill shipments. All in all I recommend everything I've tried from Quip.

  • love my quip toothbrush ! the only con is when changing the brush head, it's really easy to snap it ... I've had the get the inside part replaced twice

  • I was convinced by the packaging. I used a quip toothbrush for almost two year and really convinced myself it was a good toothbrush. I recently lost my quip after traveling and had a less than ten dollar spin toothbrush laying around and I used the cheap spin brush and realized my teeth felt so much cleaner. The toothbrush is pretty and easy to travel with but it’s really is more like a manual toothbrush than it is an electric toothbrush.

  • SO sleek, and easiest subscription service ever (I don't have to think about it at all), and I love how eco-friendly it is! I do wish they had an option to opt out of the battery so I can use my rechargeable ones instead.

  • i didn’t like the shape of the toothbrush head! made it awkward to get to all the areas of my mouth!

  • The design and functionality of this toothbrush make it one you'll want to display, not hide. I loved how easily packable the toothbrush was, and yet I still feel like I got a good clean.

  • I love the concept and the design but unfortunately I don't believe it holds up to other electronic toothbrushes and even nicer manual toothbrushes as well. I'm someone who isn't always enthusiastic about oral care so I purchased this thinking that a sleeker well designed item would make me use it more. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The bristles are too low and too soft/plasticky to make a real impact. The side by side motion isn't that effect compared to toothbrushes that turn. And lastly, the metal doesn't have enough weight, making the toothbrush feel flimsy and awkward in the hand. I think that if you are someone who uses manual toothbrushes and want to make a transition into electric without breaking the bank, this is an awesome purchase especially for travel and for kids. However, as someone who already uses a better - although much much bulkier - toothbrush, I found that the experience with quip wasn't satisfying. I do want to note that their customer service is awesome and provides multiple solutions to try to improve your experience.

  • Auto shipped replacement heads make it easy to remember to replace my toothbrush every few months. Toothpaste & floss also included if subscribed which save me a trip to the store. My only problem is that they occasionally have slower shipping than ususal.

  • The toothbrush itself is fine. The vibration is really just a timer and does not help with oral health like other electric toothbrushes do. However, I love how ecofriendly and convenient the subscription is. Not having to remember when to change the toothbrush head and/or battery is great. You also have the option to subscribe to toothpaste refills as well as floss. Replacing the battery and the head are both simple and easy to do. Plus they come in cute colors.

  • i love mine, i randomly bought it after seeing it at a friends house. this is also a great space saver!! no need for a cup to store your tooth brushes that take up room on the counter, i stuck my holder to the mirror. it’s an electric toothbrush as well, i’m pretty sure it’s timed to make sure you get a deep clean each and ever time.

  • I love my quip toothbrush, it is excellent quality for the price. The batteries only last a few months, so it's important to keep a few batteries on hand!

  • I’ve used quip for the past 5 years and I’ve really enjoyed how sleek and easy it was to received my refills. It was something super cute in my bathroom that was modern and I loved that.

I wish they replaced the whole brush not just the top. Even offered cleaning tools. Since I had mine for so long the inside got pretty dirty and seemed impossible to get super clean.

  • I have been using quip for years and really like the brand. For anyone who isn't consistent about swapping out their toothbrush every three months, quip makes it super easy and will just send you a replacement every three months (with a battery!). It's also perfect for anyone who travels frequently and wants an electric toothbrush, but doesn't want to lug yet another charger.

Not a huge fan of the refillable floss (found that it broke too easily), but beyond that, love the brand and the toothbrushes are great.

  • The pulsing feature made me feel like I was getting a thorough clean each time I used this toothbrush. However, the toothbrush head is extremely difficult to pull off and replace to the point I was dreading having to do it. Ultimately had to stop and switch to a different brush after 6 months of using quip

  • I got tired of how gross some electric tooth brushes get over time and was drawn to Quips design. I’ve had a great experience with mine and the battery lasts forever

  • Love my Quip electric toothbrush! Available in such fun colors (I usually buy the kid colors) and the unboxing experience was thoughtful, straightforward, and cool. The application makes brushing your teeth so much easier and more convenient thanks to the two-minute timer! when you need a replacement head they can easily be found at a local store near you.

  • I've been using a Quip toothbrush for several months now, and overall, I've had a decent experience with it. The toothbrush worked great through the first two battery changes, and I appreciated the convenient subscription service that automatically sends new brush heads and batteries right to my door. However, by the third battery change, the toothbrush stopped working altogether. I tried replacing the battery again, but it still wouldn't turn on.

    Feedback

Overall, while my experience with the Quip toothbrush was mixed, I appreciated the convenience of the subscription service and the responsive customer service team. However, without the batteries working there is no difference between this toothbrush and a two-dollar toothbrush. I like the idea of Quip, but I probably won't buy a new one.

  • As a firefighter I spend every third day away from home working for 24 hours. The holder that the brush comes with, as well as the size make this brush super convenient to take to work with me. I currently have one at home and another at work. I’ve had an issue with one handle that replacement brush heads wouldn’t stay on. The vibrations are nice and I like how it lets you know when to move on to another area. I’m also a fan of the tongue scrubber on the back. I haven’t used the subscription service as I usually just pick up the replacement heads at target when I need them. Overall, it’s a vibrating toothbrush. I just happen to like it.

  • I like this toothbrush, but I don't think it's the best electric toothbrush on the market. I use my quip for a good travel electric toothbrush. I love that it's compact and has no charging.
