quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

Small and lightweight for travel. I don’t have to carry chargers with me and the battery lasts long.

Love the design and the general idea. However, after several weeks the head broke off and I contacted customer service to ask them to send a new brush head and it was the biggest pain ever: they wanted pictures, and a description of what happened. It was a total turnoff: it's a toothbrush, I don't think anyone will be running toothbrush scams. If someone asks for a replacement, just send it. So I ended up switching to another brand.

Toothbrush was too slow and too soft.

I love my quip toothbrush. My sister-in-law bought one for my daughter and after seeing it and having a not-great dentist visit, I decided to try one for myself. I bought a pretty standard version in a store for about $15-$20. While I typically use my free dentist issued brush, the office didn't seem too bad for a reusable powered toothbrush and I figured I'd I didn't like it, that wasn't nearly as bad as the $90-$100+ for most versions. I'd used electric toothbrushes in the past but they were always a little too aggressive and made my sensitive teeth hurt so I'd change back to the manual version pretty quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this was. Not a bunch of pieces to deal with, sleek design and even had a nice cover which is a plus to me. Using it was even better! It's nice and gentle without too much vibration feeling so it was great for my sensitive teeth. I also loved that it has a little timer to remind you how long you should be brushing and when to switch spots in your mouth. I definitely feel like I brush longer and more accurately with that. I loved the first so much that I recently just purchased a new one and signed up for the replacement heads every 3 months to make sure I'm keeping things hygienic.

I love my quip products. My teeth are very sensitive, so the soft bristles really make a difference. The floss is AMAZING. Super easy to travel with and looks super sleek.

Love that I get my oral health shipped to me every 3 months so I don't have to think about when the last time I changed my toothbrush. The custom support is also great, they shipped me a new toothbrush when mine stopped working. Also love the gum, just wish it was bigger pieces.

Quip is delivered every month so no need to worry about running out. Batteries are included for convince. The toothpaste is basic with no other options and that is a drawback. Brushes are adequate.

Not for me. I had to return it. It didn’t feel like the brush moved enough to be considered “electronic”

Been a Quip user for over 5 years now. In the beginning I loved it, but as they have evolved I feel like it has gotten much more expensive and harder to get the things you need. For example, I want a replacement motor, but the only available ones now are the 'smart' ones for $25. When I signed up the whole brush was $20. Also their toothpaste tastes bad. Gotta give them credit for the convenience, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

I love how easy and inexpensive this toothbrush is and how soft the bristles are on my gums. It took a minute for me to figure out how to replace the battery but it was easy to use. I didn't always like the subscription, and would always get more toothpaste sent to me even though I didn't use up the previous 2 tubes. I did really like the floss though!

I am pleased with the minimalist design and gentle yet effective cleaning of these electric toothbrushes. Great starting point for electric toothbrush user. However, I am disappointed that the brush head accumulates mold after a month of use and cannot be adequately cleaned with baking powder. I would prefer a brush head that lasts until the battery needs to be replaced.

The vibration from the head of the toothbrush doesn’t feel like it’s shredding my enamel off but still feels like I’m getting a good clean! This is probably good for someone with sensitive teeth for that reason. I wish the bottom was flat so I could stand it up without having to use the holder it comes with.

Its nice to get a replacement brush and battery sent every few months but at the end of the day I am not sure if it offers really anything special beyond that.

The refillable floss pic took a little bit of getting used to, but now I love it, it even has a carrying case that I can carry around when I travel, or just in my everyday bag. Super sleek, but don't put it in a public place cause they can easily be mistaken as an earbuds case haha. Not sure why this sort of technology hasn't existed before, it's brilliant

This is a pretty toothbrush, but so much weaker than a Philips or OralB that it acts as just a manual toothbrush that kinda vibrates. I was really excited to try this when it first came out because of the beautiful packaging, but it doesn’t compare to my other electric toothbrushes. The floss pick is also too awkward and large to fit in my mouth. As a petite woman w a smaller mouth, it’s too bulky to floss my back molars and I end up using regular floss either way. The mouthwash concentrate and dispenser is quite cool though, so I might check it out.

I’ve used this brand for years. I like that you don’t have charge it and how sleek they are. For sensitive gums and teeth, this is a good electric toothbrush because it’s not too harsh. Overtime, you do have to replace the heads and eventually the toothbrush itself. But they last awhile, and it’s worth the investment in my opinion.

I've been using the toothbrush for about 4 years now and the floss for about 1 year. I really liked the toothbrush - I like that the brush holder sticks easily to the wall or mirror for easy storage, the slim profile makes it easy to travel with, and the subscription brush heads remind me to change the brush. However, I went to the dentist recently and heard from my hygienist that they get warnings about quip in school because it's not a true electric toothbrush - the vibrations aren't strong enough to remove all the plaque. So I will be switching to a different electric toothbrush. I will keep using the floss though - it comes in a sleek container, is refillable, and I like that it expands so it can give a deeper clean.

I love my quip! I have been using these products for years, and find that they deliver a great toothbrushing experience. The replacement heads are easy to use and assemble, and makes me feel like every brush is clean and sanitary.

I’ve had mine for about 4 years, and it works fine. It can be hard to get the brush head off and it does feel like it’s lost some of its power over the years.

Amazing packaging, very aesthetic. Easy to travel with.
