quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

Love the toothbrush! We’ve been using it for 2 years now. The heads don’t last long and need to be replaced frequently.

I’m into quip— any opportunity to automate my life is great. Their products are cute and look great on my counter. And they’re so convenient to travel with!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I selected a trail for 5.00 gummies and 239.99 was charged to my card. As soon as I made the purchase I immediately got an alert and saw the charge. The charge showed up with a contact number and different company name. When I reached out to this company I kept getting an email from Melissa which from numerous reviews of others who are experiencing the same issue received the same emails from a Michelle saying the same thing about a pre-authorization hold thank will drop off. Well it did not. Michelle saying the same message that bank is responsible. I have reported this to multiple agencies and will not stop. This is not right and I am not going to accept this. Their add is very misleading and doesn't even tell how much their so called pre-authorization hold amount will be. I will continue to post my concerns and what happened to me on every channel made available to me. My bank is also investigating this as well. Please be aware. It's not a good feeling to be in the situation I am in, especially when you strive every day to be honest, respectful and considerate person.

The experience is so easy. They send me a quick email once every three months to confirm my info, and voila - my package arrives seamlessly!

I really enjoy the ease of quip and the product itself works well. However, it’s not easy to change or pause your subscription.

I have used several different quip products and find that they don't last very long. Even with changing out the heads as recommended and cleaning all the parts each time, they seem to malfunction or need to be replaced within a year. This was true with the bluetooth enhanced one I got for my daughter and also for the brushes I purchased for myself. In addition to these issues, two different dentists I have seen told me that quip brushes are as effective as manual brushes and recommended spending more on Sonicare for a deeper and more effective brush. With all that said, they are very cute, and work for travel since they don't require packing the whole charging base and take up the about the same footprint as a standard manual brush.

My oral B toothbrush had died and someone had gifted this to me to use. However, after using it a few times a noticed that my teeth did not feel as clean as they had felt with my Oral B toothbrush. The Quip toothbrush looks nice and feels solid in my hand, but though it vibrates, I definitely didn't feel like it can stand with the other brands of electric toothbrushes I have used.

Nice look and I like the subscription idea. It just isn’t as strong of an oscillating cleaner as my fancy toothbrush.

Quip replaced my sonicare toothbrush. It’s much more sleek and packs well for travel. The toothpaste is good not great.

I’ve had a subscription to quip for quite a while now and really enjoy it. The only thing I’d say is my toothbrush hasn’t warm down by the time the refill came so I had too many refills and had to pause.

Design over efficacy. Fine for a travel brush but wouldn't use it as a main source of oral hygiene.

The initial product use was good, the bristles don’t move so you use it like a normal brush. My dentist didn’t have any comments about it when I told her. I really liked the portability of this brush with the included travel cover. I also liked being able to stick it to the side of my cabinet and have it stay covered. I gave it 2 stars because I had to have it replaced twice under warranty for the seal between the battery and handle (water) being faulty. Customer service was wonderful and offered replacement right away, but I decided to switch to a different brand after failure #3.

My 6 year old daughter got one recently and it is her first electric toothbrush. She loves the purple color and how easy it is to use and hold. As a parent, I love how it's a simple design, no plugs, and no characters all over it. It's aesthetically pleasing. Pressing the button to start was a bit tricky the first time, but after that it has become a breeze to use. We got rid of her plastic sand timer we'd keep in the bathroom since the brush automatically shuts off to signal you're done brushing. The vibration seems very gentle compared to my older Sonicare brush, but that's probably a good thing for kids' gentle gums and growing/falling teeth.

Ive purchased the toothbrush for my kids and they are very cute. The bristles are soft which I liked. I also like the refill system because I receive the replacement heads right on time along with the batteries. The motor has failed a couple of times, however, Quip's response team has solved the issue. I do want to note that I don't use the toothbrush myself. i think its ok for kids but not as strong for adults. I recently purchased the water flosser and its a great addition. I like that its wireless and rechargeable as well as a nice design.

I tried this pre-covid (yr unk?) and the first head that came with the device had a good grip but after that one needed to be replaced, the replacement heads never got a good purchase and would come off during brushing occasionally. It happened enough times to both my husband and I that were decided it was the device and changed products.

The quip toothbrush is very sleek and conveniently sized. The vibration was just enough and not overpowering for my sensitive teeth. Unfortunately, the product stopped working after about 2 weeks of daily use. I would recommend spending a little more money to get a better quality product.

I like the design and feel of the brush but I think Oral B cleans my teeth better!
