quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

Love the toothpaste. Taste isn't too strong.

I enjoy my quip toothbrush and appreciate that it vibrates for 2 minutes.
Feedback
I wish that there was an option for a real automatic toothbrush rather than just the small vibrations.
I love my Quip toothbrush. I like that it does a quick pause after 30 seconds to remind me to move to a new area. The 2 minute timer is a plus too. Very easy to change out the battery and new brush.
Feedback
Wouldn’t change anything.

Love how sleek the toothbrush is. Most electric toothbrushes are extremely bulky but this one doesn't take up too much space and looks nice. Nothing to complain about as far as the function of the toothbrush - it did what it needed to do and kept my mouth feeling very clean!

I really liked it (was recommended by dentist) but personally am not a fan of electric toothbrushes

I can only speak to the refillable floss pick. Its design is sleek and minimal (which is why I was initially drawn to it), but it totally lacks functionality. I love the idea of a reusable floss stick (I feel so guilty going through disposable ones), but the floss itself wouldn't stay taut in the actual pick – making it impossible to successfully floss my teeth. It was essentially a glorified string floss dispenser, which is not what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to return it. :(
Feedback
If they improved the design to actually keep the floss taut in the pick, I would absolutely repurchase and try their product again. I'd also recommend a slimmer/narrower design, as the current size + shape is pretty large and hard to maneuver in the mouth.
Have the original quip toothbrush. Does a great job cleaning and travels well

I love my quip! It works well, the deliveries are quick, the Bluetooth feature is also great
It gets the job done but unfortunately does not last very long. I feel I had mine for close to a month before it just gave out.

Longer use
admittedly I felt kind of stupid signing up for a toothbrush subscription service… but receiving new brush heads regularly has been a game-changer. and the timed brushing itself is also fantastic.
Feedback
a little hard to navigate the subscription part of my account.

I love the design, it looks very aesthetic in any bathroom or when I'm traveling and the price is definitely not bad in comparison to other electric toothbrushes. I would say there's nothing spectacular about how it brushes (compared to high-range electric toothbrushes) but I have pretty sensitive teeth and it doesn't bother them.
Feedback
Perhaps a higher-end tier of toothbrushes for those who want a better/more detailed brushing.

I have used quip for 5+ years and will never go back. It is so EASY, I love the subscription model, and the chic product.

I’ve been using quip for close to 5 years now. Enjoyed the convenience of receiving a new brush head in the mail. Had some issues with the motor breaking a few years ago and ended up buying a new one at Target. Overall enjoyed my experience but the increase in brush head cost has me questioning if I should just buy an electric toothbrush with replaceable heads as it’s more cost effective.
I think Quip is an incredible concept- that ended up falling flat for me. Almost every launch they have I ended up cancelling. The toothbrush is good, not great. Floss worked horribly for me and overall, it doesn't actually feel like a sustainable option
I love their floss dispenser. It is eco-friendly and pretty and fits into every purse. I used to HATE flossing until I found this product. Now I am actually enjoying it and doing it much more frequently :)
Clean design but awkward shape
Quip is just ok toothbrushes for a high price point. The styling and functionality has a cool factor but I’d honestly rather purchase a better quality battery powered brush at the supermarket instead of being in a subscription

It just doesn’t seem worth it for the price and subscription model.
The TL;DR of why I love Quip: (1) the design; (2) the excellent customer service; (3) the ease with which I can order and receive my refills; and (3) the convenience, from the subscription service down to the product itself. What I don't like: (1) I found it doesn't clean as well as some other electric toothbrushes I've tried before; (2) I've used their floss and mouthwash as well, and their "accessory" products aren't worth your time or money, for a few reasons; and (3) changing the battery and motor can sometimes be a pain. I wouldn't suggest that Quip is purely aesthetic. In fact, the toothbrush functions better than a lot of expensive electric toothbrushes. It's slim, meaning it's easy to travel with. The travel case has an adhesive that easily sticks to mirrors, meaning you can leave your toothbrush out to dry after brushing. I really like the toothpaste that came with my first order for its size and its fresh taste, and I've since been repurchasing. I always found that the subscription service works as it should with no issues, and I've always been happily surprised to see my refill in the mail. When I had an issue in the past, customer service has quickly responded and made it right.

I will say, with Quip, you're getting exactly what you paid for. There's no bells and whistles to it beside a 2 minute timed electronic brush, which is all you really need. I have the Smart Motor, meaning I can track my brushing history via the Quip app. This can be redeemed for points, although it takes a lot of points to redeem any of the desirable gifts, if I'm being honest. Probably could have gone without the Smart Motor, but it wasn't that expensive of an upgrade from the regular brush. I think Quip could improve on its motor speed, which has a significant impact on the cleanliness of my teeth post-brushing. I've noticed, as has my Quip app apparently, that I need to apply a certain amount of pressure to have had an "optimal" brushing. I think that's fine, but it's also caused inflammation in my gums from brushing too hard. There seems to be a fine line there. I'd argue the Quip ecosystem doesn't provide the bang for your buck. The toothbrush and toothpaste are great, yes, but I wasn't impressed with the other items. The mouthwash bottle is pretty, but leaks with every use. The floss snaps, and the floss holder itself doesn't comfortably maneuver while flossing. These products could be improved in their function. The aesthetic of it should be an added bonus, not the main feature.
I’ve been using a Quip toothbrush for years…so nice having the new brush heads show up to my door like clockwork so I don’t need to remember to go buy a new toothbrush!
Ended up going back to my Oral-B electric toothbrush. I think the packaging and look of the Quip is sleek and nice, but didn't feel that it did the same job cleaning as some other electric brushes out there.
