quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

i’ve been using my quip toothbrush for a few weeks and am so glad to have made the switch! i appreciate the 2 minute timer feature and the overall packaging of the toothbrush. i’m not the biggest fan of the sticky strip on the back of the holder but it gets the job done. i only wish they had brush heads that weren’t only soft bristles
Quip made me into the kind of couple I fear most, we have matching toothbrushes now and we love it. Don't worry they're different colors but quip made brushing our teeth fun!

My experience with the Quip toothbrush was not successful, unfortunately. Despite this, the support team was exceptional and made every effort to address my concerns. They even went so far as to replace my toothbrush. However, I still felt as though the vibration was more noticeable in my hand than in the brush portion itself.
This is a nice electric toothbrush but not the best on the market. The automatic brush replacement is nice.
Love my Quip! Had for 6 years and only one issue so far but customer service replaced my 4 year old toothbrush. Super convenient and great product!

Quip is fine if you're comparing to a manual toothbrush, other than the price. It is not really an electric toothbrush, it vibrates slightly and then buzzes to let you know to move to a different part of your mouth. Not worth the price

expensive for what it is and i dont think it cleans that well compared to a sonicare- its more comparable to a vibrating toothbrush you would find at the drugstore. its visually appealing but the form factor does not lend itself to good grip/easy maneuvering
This did not make a difference in my teeth. My dentist told me that it wasn't powerful enough. I love the packaging and the look of it, but it is not worth the price.

Subscription is annoying, toothbrush design makes it hard to change the battery.
nice and compact for travel. my teeth are small so its a little rough on my gums.
Love the idea of this electric toothbrush and continue to buy them. A few times the head has broken whilst changing it though, so be careful of that. But Quip have been great at reliable customer service. Love the gold color and think they work great.
When I first bought my quip toothbrush years ago, I was excited to use what felt like an innovative product. Many people in my life were yet to see an electric toothbrush as the standard, so I felt ahead of the times. I loved the sustainable approach of replacing brush heads and even refilling my floss. Over time though, I feel the brand hasn't done enough to innovate. After learning how much more effective other electric toothbrushes can be, I just recently made a switch, and have seen greater results. The pulsed timer is unfortunately no longer enough as other brands have this - and more. I hope they come out with a 2.0 version with greater benefits, ones that outweigh their competitors, and I would be happy to return as a loyal customer.

I love quip! I've had it for a couple of years now and first of all, im a sucker for all things with a clean and minimal design (check!) It doesnt take up too much space when I'm traveling and I've even gifted some to my mom and bf! everyone needs a cute toothbrush in their lives!
my brush exploded in the middle of the night....... was chill up until that point though!
I used this for a number of years, but ultimately it was too aggressive for my gums (I have small teeth). I don’t think it’s worth the money for long term use, but the subscription brush heads and travel size toothbrush are convenient. The flosser is very innovative but isn’t very practical.
Eh… I don’t feel like they really clean my teeth as well as other leading brands
So easy to use and love that my refills come automatically
Never run out of toothpaste ever again! The quip subscription is perfect, I don't forget to change my toothbrush head and never run out of toothpaste; easy and efficient.

I have been using quip for the past 3 years and since then I have convinced 6 people to also start using quip! Only one of those people switched back to a regular toothbrush! Not having to remember or take the time to order new brush head replacements is amazing! The only thing I would say is I don't like the "waste" (most everything is recyclable) but I wish I could recycle the brush head too!
PRODUCT becomes difficult to remove the portion to access the battery. A rubber gasket does not sit in place or last long and may come loose over time. DESIGN super sleek and probably the sexiest minimalistic modern toothbrush I’ve seen. However because of the battery design, I’ve defaulted back to Philips Sonicare.
