quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

The water flosser is a game changer!
I’ve had quip for over 3 years and absolutely love the brush. I benefit from the automatic subscription so I get a new brush head when it’s time rather than me keeping up with when I should change it out. I actually ordered the kids version for the brush head because my mouth is smaller so that’s a hack I would recommend.
Bought their toothbrush from target and it stopped working after two months of use. Didn’t think it was worth the repurchase.
We all love quip products. Do wish the price would drop a bit but for the most part we love the brand.
I don’t love having to wait for new batteries or brush heads to arrive by mail, and I wasn’t super impressed with the quality for the price. I love the color options but wish there were more options within the features themselves and that the product was more affordable and effective.
love how compact the toothbrush is, great for traveling
I loved the look of these toothbrushes and was a loyal user for 4 years, but upgrading to a Sonicare has made me realize how much cleaner my teeth could have been with proper vibrations. Perhaps a good travel toothbrush option.
Looks good but that’s about it. I didn’t feel like it was cleaning my teeth more than a traditional non-electric toothbrush. I would save your money and wait to buy a higher-quality brush, or just stick to a non electric one!
These toothbrushes are travel friendly, but definitely not as good of a clean feeling in your mouth that you get from a more high end electric toothbrush.
I've used quip for a few years now and have mostly good things to say — I like the toothbrush and the mouthwash, and generally the service is extremely convenient and nice to have. I tried the expanding floss when it first dropped and didn't like it at all (the floss was too thick to move between teeth, and it came out of the floss pick too easily), though I haven't tried the new slide floss yet. Their customer service can also be pretty slow and clunky – Instead of making changes to your subscription plan you need to fully cancel the plan and then restart a new plan with your new preferences. Overall I recommend though it isn't perfect. 7.5/10?
Love their subscription model - dying to try out their floss too.
Cute and looks good sitting on the counter but I ended up going back to Sonicare. I bought these for my kids but not impressed.
After my third broken toothbrush, I just switched to a manual. They all had the same issue, where the brush could not turn off unless the batteries were out.

My quip toothbrush is my go to travel toothbrush. It’s perfect for packing as it is slim and the holder doubles as a toothbrush cover. Battery operated is very convenient for traveling as well!
Got the reusable flosser - overall a great idea but not sure the execution is there. It's a bit difficult to use but I try to use it to be more sustainable. Still I find myself reaching for my disposable Oral B Glide Flossers every night to ensure I still floss!

Obsessed with my water flosser!!!! best one by far I have used. Pressure options are great and it is super easy to clean.
Thought I loved it until I went to the dentist and she recommended a different brush. I took her advice with a grain of salt but the big box brand works a lot better. I do like the subscription model.
Love these toothbrushes! It has an automatic timer for two minutes of brushing and a built in travel case and stand to keep your toothbrush safe from germs.
Tried the floss, it doesn’t keep the string on very tightly so it is hard to floss
Get a real electric toothbrush instead, works way better! Quip would be convenient for travelling but not worth it as your main toothbrush I loved the concept of the refillable floss, that is genius, but i dont like the floss that you have to use with it, its very thick
