I have a few of these blush's because some of the colour options are tooo gorgeous and unique to pass up. However, not much product in the pan (for the cream blush especially) for the price. Still really pretty and worth the splurge.

Patrick Ta earns strong reviews for high-pigment, blendable color that looks natural and lasts, particularly the Double-Take/Transition blush duos and brow products, while some formulas and tools show shortcomings. Reviewers praise seamless, buildable application, luxe packaging, and flattering shade range, but note fast-drying liquid blush that can turn patchy, powder formulas that run streaky for some, brow gel flaking with weak longevity, and a messy or finicky foundation dropper.

The duo is a really interesting concept and the top shade does give a nice brightened, healthy look under the eyes. I liked that it made the under-eye area look a little more fresh and less flat compared to using concealer alone and without feeling heavy. That said, it’s very easy to overapply, especially if you’re not used to blush under the eyes and can start to look cakey if you don’t have a light hand. Sadly the bottom orange shade isn’t a great option for really fair skin, I felt like I couldn’t apply enough and when I did it was too orange for my skin tone. But overall the shades blend smoothly, especially with the recommended new dual blush brush.

While the Patrick Ta Liquid Transition Brightening Blush in shade Did You Notice might look super orange, I’m here to tell the pale folks not to worry. It’s super flattering and gives you that really pretty glowy flush that makes it look like you just got a nice tan from your Spring Break travels. A little goes a long way and coverage is definitely buildable. I will say that you have to blend pretty quickly since it dries down fast and can look patchy if you leave it sitting for too long. I used it with the Dual-Ended Transition Blush Brush though and it blended out so fast and looked seamless.

I was a bit skeptical of the brush at first, at least the “packed” side. It didn’t look like the bristles were packed close enough to be able to adequately diffuse the blush but I was pleasantly surprised! I used it with the Transition Blurring Blush Duo powders and it blended it out like a dream. I also tried it with the Transition Liquid Blush and it blended out beautifully just the same. I almost wish the angled side of the brush FELT more packed but I can’t complain since it works amazingly.
