At this point this company might be on the brink of collapsing. I’m not sure. I’ve been a loyal outlines recycler since they came on the market a few years ago. I started with the system that had the cotton top and plastic set up, I noticed that cotton started to grow mold, even when they said it shouldn’t, and customer service was amazing and responsive. I switched over to the full plastic liner, while not what I really wanted, it was great that customer service offered me the option. And honestly being on the replens system and doing good for the world with recycling (and keeping my bathroom clean) was important to me. I loved the product and the mission. I was charged for my replacement back in December and it still hasn’t shipped. I got, what I thought was a thoughtful reply from an “Alphonse” who said my order was going out the next Monday. Months pass, no arrival. I reach out again, multiple times, since they default to AI and it’s hard to get someone on the actual other end of the email. FINALLY a reply! Only it’s Alphonse with the same copy and paste reply from months ago….is Alphonse real? Is everything AI on their end? Do they even make this product anymore?!? As a loyal customer for years, I think the day has come where I need to cancel my account. This product no longer arrives on time. It’s impossible to get a reply. I’ll flag it with my credit card company to get my money back since the company is clearly not even operating on a sustainable or human basis.
This was a really cool product and offering that they didn’t plan properly for.
It’s not worth your time. Buy a fabric curtain and wash it in the washing machine regularly. That’s the route I’ll be going next.
