Our Place earns polarized reviews: the Always Pan and Perfect Pot look stunning, clean easily, and the integrated spatula rest, steamer baskets, and thoughtful lid-strainer design impress, but durability falters—nonstick coatings often degrade within months, exteriors stain and chip, handles run hot, and high heat ruins performance. Reviews affirm the brand can work well with careful, low-to-medium heat use and gentle cleaning, yet many cooks report uneven longevity and prefer stainless or cast iron for lasting sear and reliability.

While I’ve never tested their viral Always Pan, I do have their ceramic bakeware set and I love it. Most importantly for me, is that it’s a 4 piece set that all stores comfortably and compactly together.
It’s cute and it’s nonstick for a while and it a nice decor piece, however it gets worn down so fast for the price. The nonstick does wear off and the bottom gets stained from the burner. The price just does not justify the quality at all
Beyond the beautiful presentation of this set, this was a miss for me, especially at this price point. I find the pan heavy and clunky, the non-stick coating isn't any better than a pan I could pick up from Home Goods, and I don't find the spatula holder that useful. It's a small complaint, but honestly, putting the spatula in the little peg just requires a couple more seconds of focus than I care to spend when storing or using my pans.
For me what really makes these great are the small thoughtful design features; being able to store the spatula on the handle, lid also being a strainer, the pot grips are longer on one side than the other so that they can hold a lid on or not depending on what you're doing, etc. I think the always pan epitomizes good design, and I love it. I agree with another reviewer that it seems like slightly less care was put into the pot design - its annoying that the handles aren't heat-safe. I also have plates and bowls from here, and love them; they look and feel great, and I LOVE that you can use the plates as lids for the bowls! I also love that they use ethical manufacturing and supply chain processes, which is what originally brought me to the brand.
Purchase the Our Place Always Pan and several bowls and plates from this brand. Very high quality and sturdy plates that look great and modern in my home. The Pan works great with the steamer too.

I have the always pan and always pot. The pan came first and while really aesthetically pleasing, it is not an "always" pan to me. It wasn't as non stick as advertised. I purchased the always pot to match it, and while it is in tip top shape, I don't use it as much except when I cook soups, chili or stews ( which is not often). The main caveat is that I think the fact that the grip handles are not heat safe is very disadvantageous to claiming something is a perfect anything. If long handle is heat safe on the stove top (not in an oven obvi), why can't the smaller grip handles be as well?
I liked the pan for a while but after about a year of use started to lose it's non stick surface and turn colors on the outside. I did use it quite a lot since it was my primary pan of use but for the money I was hoping it would stand up better in time. I have another pan that was much cheaper and I have been using for about the same about of time and has held up much better. didn't love the steamer add on as well. became very sticky and was hard to clean.

I can't speak for their most famous item (the Always pan), as I don't own it, but I do own the stackable mini side bowls and a set of the stackable glasses. All the items are really great quality and simple/versatile in design/aesthetic. I mostly purchased these items because I wanted something long lasting and that wouldn't easily break, especially while washing dishes. The little side bowls are especially great for mise en place while cooking in my tiny NYC kitchen :')
I've purchased multiple items from this brand (always pan, small and large cast iron, the large skillet, steamer large pot) I mostly love them. super cute. Love the colors. Love the variety and things I can do with them. They are very useful. When the nonstick works it's amazing Shipped very fast when in stock.

I find that the nonstick is sometimes difficult to get to actually not stick. The large pan almost doesn't feel large enough. My pot somehow has a chip in it already, and I know I've only used wood or nonstick utensils so that kind of sucks
The pan is beautiful, but the benefit stops there. It wears really fast and is hard to store because it doesn't fit nicely with other pan sizes. If you don't cook much and don't require super high heat for searing or long sautees then the pan should be fine but be very careful washing and using any utensils on it

Super cute to leave on the stove if you want just one pan.

The always pan branding won me over but the product itself is super underwhelming. It is pretty but it didn't replace other cookware and it feels clunky to use.
I received the Always Pan as a gift. It lost it's non-stick abilities within three months (following guidelines and avoiding high heat etc.). That, coupled with the lack of versatility (not oven safe), meant it didn't last long in our kitchen. It did look good though!
Beautiful aesthetic. Even with following the instructions of how to cook on the always pan it quickly lost its nonstick. Absolutely love the spatula holder on the pan though

Nonstick durability.
I've got a green Our Place pot/pan/everything cooking utensil. It's reliable and doesn't show much sign of wear after weekly use.
Feedback
The notch that holds the spatula is cool but I wish it wasn't 100% proprietary to the Our Place utensil. Kind of an unreasonable ask and technically speaking is a great business strategy but from a consumer POV it's a bit of a pain.

I LOVE this pan.. it's literally the only pot/pan I own (as a college student) and I cook in it every day. It is very good quality, so I feel like the price is justified. Unfortunately mine was stolen from the dorm kitchen- but hey, they picked this pan out of the 30+ others it was next to.
This pan was great at first. However, I found that over time the nonstick coating came off. also the wooden spoon didn’t last long
Have been using the Always Pan for 5 months now and it still works as well as the first day. Easy to cook and easy to clean! Great product.

I got this as a gift from someone for Christmas. I was so excited and loved the color choices but the brand is all purely aesthetic and not useful. The nonstick wore off pretty quickly and it made cooking such a hassle. I ended up giving it away to someone.
We’ve had the skillet for a couple years now. It’s great and we use it almost daily. The nonstick could use a little work as far as being healthy and up where the handle connects to the pan it’s chipped a little over time.

I like a lot about the Our Place Brand and love how they're expanding into appliances! I've had their original pan for about 3-4 years, now two of them, and use it several times a week. I've found that with the right use, it's perfect, but won't stay pristine forever. I've tried a few other products including their pot which I LOVE for soups and stews, and the knives which weren't my favorite.
