OLAPLEX delivers noticeable repair and shine for many—especially bleached and color‑treated hair—with standouts like No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 6 Bond Smoother, No. 7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo frequently praised in reviews. However, reviews also flag drawbacks: some experience dryness, heaviness or greasiness, residue, overly strong toning or staining from purple products, mixed or short‑lived results, and concerns about overuse or sensitivity, making OLAPLEX effective but not universally foolproof.

I have been a huge of Olaplex especially their product N.7 bonding oil. Gives my hair the most amazing shine and and hydrating feel and look to it. I do find it a little bit pricey for a 30ml bottle

I love the Olaplex products! They've made a huge difference on my hair's moisture. My favourite is the Olaplex Bond Smoother it's been a game changer. I use it as leave in on non-hair wash days and it's perfect for a slicked back pony or bun!

My hair salon uses Olaplex and I’m obsessed. I purchase the same products my hairdresser puts on me because my hair is always so soft and tangle free from them.

I enjoyed using the shampoo and conditioner. It is a bit pricy compared to similar brands but it is effective. It also smells really nice.

I really liked the sampler set of olaplex products that I received which included the shampoo, conditioner, and bond repair 00 and the next step. I have very thin fine hair and really noticed it help my hair get a lot more shine although I didn’t notice it helping with the overall growth or density/preventing breakage which is my main ask for bond repair products. I’ve been wanting to try the oil as I have curly and sometimes frizzy hair and always use an oil. I don’t personally think it’s worth the money and hype but it does feel like more of a salon shampoo which I appreciated and will occasionally splurge on.

The shampoo and conditioner are very heavy and didn't seem to really clean my hair.

I use step 1, 2 and 3 of Olaplex when doing a colour service on my clients and I truly believe that it helps to preserve the integrity of the hair. It restores broken bonds within the hair and leave the quality of the hair looking very healthy after any chemical service ! I love It !

Olaplex is the way to go to for my bleached hair and probably all other forms of blonde as well. It makes my hair so much shinier and smoother than without it. It is one of the best, most repairing products I have used.

It is wonderful for hair that has been colored or processed a lot. It built the strength back up into it. But be careful. Its not an every day shampoo. You can have too much protein in your hair.

Honestly, before the Olaplex products I thought there were not so many differences between the consumer haircare products. My fine and bit curly hair only got more slobby with "moisturizing" products, and with volumizing products, it went all over the place. Enter Olaplex. This stuff really makes a difference, though it does take some time to go through the whole routine. But it's worth it, even if you don't have hair that is damaged by bleaching or hot irons. And yes, buying the "whole set" is a bit of an investment. For my fine hair, the following routine once a week seems to be the best: I use both pre-wash products, the Nº 0 followed by the Nº 3, shampoo, and instead of conditioner the Nº 8 Moisture Mask. I use the Nº.9 Serum and a few drops of the Nº 7 oil as a hairstyle product.

The best product to repair your damaged hair, plus it provides nutrients for dry hair like mine, leaves my hair beautiful and smells delicious

I have the N 7 Bonding Oil and it's helped stop my split ends in their tracks and gave me that shine back. I thought that it would be totally overhyped, but it completely transformed my hair after I damaged it with TWO PERMS in a month. I like to apply 10+ drops from my mids to ends and let my hair sit in a claw clip or protective hairstyle while I'm working or running errands and then I wash it out when I get home. It took a couple of weeks to see results but it was worth the wait. It seems like I'm using a lot of product by using so many drops per use but it's lasted me several months now and it's not even halfway empty. I don't use it when I'm not letting it sit or else it makes my hair look oily, which makes sense. I'm sure it wouldn't do that as much if my hair was longer but just a PSA.

The Bonding Oil is seriously liquid gold! It adds shine and the scent it has makes me feel like I just left the salon. 10/10 recommend! It also lasts so long, because a little goes a long way.

Have been using it for years. Pricy product but works well especially if you have treated light colored hair
