  • Refined, memorable fragrances
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Smooth, glide-on application
  • Accessible, diverse scent range
  • Inconsistent odor longevity
  • Occasional white residue transfer
  • Gritty, sticky deodorant texture
  • Noticeable shirt staining risk

Native earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its deodorants and body washes smell exceptional and many users say they work for everyday wear, while others report short wear time, residue, and staining. Reviews praise clean-feeling formulas, sensitive-skin options, and standout scents like Coconut & Vanilla, Eucalyptus & Mint, and Citrus & Herbal Musk, but note inconsistent odor control in heat/workouts, occasional rashes or grit, and cardboard-packaging ergonomics.

  • Love the natural products or at least the thought behind it. Seems to be of good quality but I prefer degree clinical strength or degree motion.

  • I have extremely sensitive pits and their sensitive line still managed to give me a rash unfortunately. I found the formula to be really dry yet oily at the same time? I like that they offer a large amount of interesting scents and I'm sure they transfer well to their other body products, but this one isn't for me.

  • I love Native scents. I've now tried both the bodywash and deodorant. I personally had a bad experience with the deodorant, but that has more to do with my own personal allergies than the brand. That said, if you are sensitive to natural deodorants, Native probably won't be for you. Regardless, the scents are amazing and the bodywash is great! I wish I could use them more.

  • I love this deodorant. It’s one of the only natural deodorants that work well. I doesn’t stop me from sweating but my sweat doesn’t smell. The scents are great. I’ve tried eucalyptus, lilac, and orange coconut. My only criticism is if I’m very active, such as hiking for a long ways, it does wear off. It’s best as a day to day deodorant.

  • Native is at the top of the list of products for cleansing & healthy skin. I also respect the fact that they don't have tons of additives like most other companies.

  • keeps my man smellin freeesh. $11 a bar is crazy tho kick me some manufacturer's coupons pls

  • I really wanted to love Native. I love their message in trying to keep everyday hygiene products from being cruelty free to fun and environmentally conscious. Their scent combos are more unique than the standard giant brands. For me though, the deodorants have either given me a rash or melts completely off me before it can really work. I tried their shampoo but it was one of the few that left my fine hair dry and stringy. I'm glad it works for others, I wish I could be one of them.

  • I love Native as a brand, but my love varies depending on the product. I’ve never had good luck with their deodorant, despite how cool their cardboard packaging is. Their bodycare products all smell amazing.

  • fav deodorant. they have the most interesting scents that pair really well layered with perfume. the citrus and herbal musk scent is 10/10. not sure it would be great for people prone to heavy sweating.

  • This product really didn't work for me. Maybe I'm too sweaty of a person, but this did absolutely nothing to prevent swear or odor.

  • When I decided to switch deodorants I didn't think I'd love Native so much! I believe I had the cucumber & mint scent and it lasted all day. It does take your body a little time to get used to.

  • Yummy smells. Best natural deodorant I’ve used and my kids love the body wash.

  • Love the deodorant-would give it 5+. It also comes in the smallest travel size I’ve ever seen. The body wash is great. The shampoo and conditioner are good-I have those in my guest bath, mostly for the packaging (aesthetics) and the scents.

  • I’ve been using Natuv body washes for about 8 months now. I love the variety of scents, most I share with the boyfriend. They don’t leave a filmy residue, and my skin doesn’t feel overly dry during the winter. I’ll keep trying their other products.

  • I love the packaging and fragrances of the deodorant, but the sensitive deodorant is just not cutting it. I’m one stinky girl, and after a couple months of use it started giving me rashes and stopped working. Wanted to love, but just couldn’t keep using.

  • I’ve tried so many different brands of aluminum free deodorant and as someone who sweats a lot (like A LOT) I was really hoping all of the good reviews I saw would mean this would work for me. Unfortunately I had a bad reaction to both the regular and sensitive deodorants. They smell amazing so I was really hoping they’d be my new favourites but it just didn’t work with how sensitive my skin is

  • I used the Native shampoo and the shampoo cleanse my hair very nicely!

  • I recently tried Native natural deodorant, hoping for a chemical-free and gentle option. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction. The scent was pleasant, but the formula irritated my skin, causing redness and itching. I appreciate their commitment to using natural ingredients, but it's essential to test patch before regular use. Disappointed with my experience, but it may work better for others with less sensitive skin. This was even more disappointing as this happened 2 years into me using the deodorant and they confirmed some ingredients had changed in the Sensitive formula and hadn’t let me know. Customer service was extremely helpful with refunding my large restock order though.
