Reviews mention

  • Aromatic, robust sesame oil
  • Crunchy, umami-packed chili crunch
  • Springy, air-dried noodle texture
  • Elegant, giftable packaging
  • Mild, underpowered noodle sauces
  • Overly salty sauce packets
  • Oily, overpowering seasonings
  • Small, less-filling portions

Momofuku earns strong reviews for flavorful condiments and well-textured, air‑dried noodles, indicating the brand is good—especially its Chili Crunch, soy sauce, tamari, and seasoned salts—while critiques cite bland or overly salty noodle sauces, small portions, and occasional overpowering seasonings. Reviews also note standout packaging and easy meal upgrades, but some find the ramen underwhelming without add‑ins and certain sauces too oily or intense.

  • This review is strictly for the chili crisps and honestly.... it might be my favorite so far. The flavor is much more deeper and richer (along w/ chili crisps, it has a hint of garlic!) then Fly by Jing or LGM which is my tried and true (although they are still my #1 brand when it comes to the soybean). Because it is extremely rich, I only add it to foods that are a bit more bland such as dumplings/noodles. I did try it with smoked mussels + crackers as well and it's delicious.

  • Tried the instant noodle and it taste just like any regular instant noodles – even saltier! Not impressed with how a good brand can deliver below standard products

  • Tingly noodle packs have great quality noodles, but the flavor pack is so salty and oily, it made me feel sick.

How about better ingredients and maybe another pack with dried vegetables lime the classic noodle packs.

  • Their chili oil is the best I've had. I'm glad they updated the packaging on the seasoned salts, the packaging I had wasn't great if you don't intend to finish the product within three months.

  • I love Momofuku's salts! I received these for my birthday and use the tingly and savory on vegetables, meats and to on the rim of a glass for cocktails. I haven't found as much of a use for the spicy salt, but I assume it would be great on meat as well.

It would be nice if the salts could be purchased separately as I use some more than others.

  • Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings about Momofuku products. The good: the products are generally delicious and tastier than competitor's products. The bad: the products are expensive from their website and bewilderingly even more expensive (by over 50%!!!) if you buy from Momofuku's own store on Amazon Canada, customer service passes the buck in case of shipping issues, and brace yourself for daily spam from Momofuku once you place an order. It's too bad that every order from them feels gougey.

  • Tried their noodles and thought it was very mid. I tried their Soy & Scallion and Tingly Wavy Noodles and the sauce was super weak. I think Soy & Scallion literally contained a pack of soy sauce and dried scallions. Tingly one was a bit better. Overall, sauce lacks flavor. Noodles were basic white taiwanese noodles.. but I even found the noodles to be too mushy because the cut is relatively thin, so gets mushy very easily. Save yourself some money and go buy a pack of Taiwanese white noodles and throw some soy sauce yourself.

  • I was so excited for these noodles, but honestly, biggest let down ever. I am a noodle junkie and the store bought ones are better, cheaper and have more sauce in their packets. I never write a review, but I just had to for this, I wish I never bought. Didnt even finish 1 packet. If I could give zero stars I would.

  • I kept seeing ads for the noodles on my social network pages so I went out and bought some. It comes in packages of 5. I was sort of disappointed when I realized it was kind of like Ramen noodles just a bit thicker. I didn't really like the sauce that comes with it. I know Momofuku is famous for their sauces but this one didn't do it for me. I ended up making my own. Also, the portion in one pack is very small. Going forward, I made two at a time. I wasn't impressed by the hype.

  • The noodles made just how they say on the back are sad. Got the bundle and tried all five, definitely will not buy again for the price. The only reason they got 3* is cuz if you actually work for it and make some of his shares recipe dishes from online (which you’ll need to go shopping for) are pretty decent. I’ll stick with Mr.noodles and ichiban noodles for my quick snacks. Also chili crunch is on point but can find better at T&T market

  • I got the soy and scallion noodles and they were honestly not that great... maybe it's because I was expecting more from David Chang, but these literally just tasted like plain noodles with soy sauce. I had to make a separate sauce to eat them with.

  • The truffle chili crunch and spicy seasoned salt are standouts

  • The Tamari & Soy Sauce are staples in our house for any dish from a stew to a sauce to quick noodle dishes or a dumpling night.

  • I bought the favorites package. It works out to an extremely reasonable price. The Ramen is delicious as are the condiments. I've told all of my friends about this. It has become a pantry staple.

  • The thing here is the noodles and flavor packets are similar to the noodles that can be bought in Walmart, Costco, or your local grocery. The only thing that stands out here is the chili sauce, after that, nothing. There are lots of Korean noodles that are tastier and cheaper than this. If you are a rich kid who wants to waste money on noodles like Asha, go ahead and do this. After an order, they will not let you cancel it. So you will have to eat the entire thing. You are welcome.

  • Do not order from them. They will ship you the wrong stuff and when you tell them that they will not admit that they have done anything wrong. Worst customer service I’ve dealt with

  • We’re completely obsessed with their noodles and chili crisp. My husband got the starter set for us to try and out family has been hooked since, we eat this noodles once a week. Their chili crisp is a whole other level of amazingness - no funny oils and a spice that has both a bite and great depth

  • We LOVE this soy sauce. I mean LOVE. When we got it, we drenched everything in it. I had to buy a new bottle by the end of the week!

  • I absolutely love their instant noodles. They are fresh, and super easy to make. I bought the variety pack to share with my dad. We both really enjoyed it.
