Moleskine earns strong reviews as a dependable, well-made notebook brand that excels in durable covers, smooth paper, thoughtful details (ribbon bookmark, elastic band, back pocket), and broad size/layout options, though paper thinness can cause bleed-through and lay-flat varies by format. Reviewers praise its sleek, classic design and longevity for journaling, planners, and travel, while noting downsides like occasional ink bleed, transparency, fewer pages than competitors, and a strap that can lose elasticity.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
The quality is great. The paper is the perfect weight, not too thick or thin. I prefer the hard cover journals over their soft cover ones. The only downside is that they're pricey.

As an avid user of Moleskine products, I can't help but sing praises for the brand! From the moment I started using their notebooks and stationery, I was hooked. The smooth, high-quality paper is a joy to write on, making my pen glide effortlessly across the pages. Whether it's jotting down notes, sketching, or journaling, using a Moleskine notebook feels like a luxurious experience. Not only is the paper top-notch, but the overall construction of their products is impressive too. The sturdy hardcovers and well-bound pages give their notebooks a durable and long-lasting feel. It's evident that Moleskine takes pride in crafting products that stand the test of time. The attention to detail in their designs also sets Moleskine apart. Lastly, the simple yet iconic Moleskine branding on the cover gives their products a touch of sophistication. It's a mark of quality that makes me proud to carry and use their notebooks. I love my Moleskine - I've both purchased and been gifted these notebooks and they are worth every penny. I write with 0.7-mm gel pens, and with this brand I've never had to deal with bleed-through on pages. Coupled with the solid elastic band holding the book together (which haven't stretched out on me yet!), these are durable and well-suited for toting around in a work bag.
This is a classic journal for a reason. The pages have a nice weight and feel.

the notebooks are really high quality, feel lovely and scream luxury. the pages feel nice and thick and i'm yet to see any ink bleed with my daily journal. the brand makes other notebooks with different page formats, suited for everyone! the prices are high but I feel its worthy of that if you rely on the notebook daily like I do.

I'm a definite fan of Moleskine and their journals. In fact, our whole family uses them, and we keep going back to Moleskine for the quality of the product. The paper tends to be thinner though, so I tend to use Moleskine notebooks and journals with pens and colored pencils rather than markers to prevent bleeding.

Classic design, reliable and affordable. The paper and binding have stood the test of time. A plus is that you can often buy them in local bookstore and such.

Got the planner. The pages are so transparent speaking it's virtually unusable. Don't recommend.

I bought a Moleskine notebook years and years ago and while I remember it being nice, I didn't remember my mind being blown by it. But I recently read about all of the latest Moleskine features (at https://youcanjournal.com/moleskine-review/ if you're interested) and it really sold me! I'm super glad it did! I bought several for a few different purposes around work and have been pleased with not only the quality, but the appearance of these journals. I don't know...they just somehow make my crappy work feel more artistic and thoughtful, which is hard to do in my job, haha. There's just a certain art to these notebooks that makes you want to use them more. Highly recommend!
