    Aura Bora

In a galaxy of sparkling water options, Aura Bora ranks very near the bottom for me. This is one of those times where venturing out of the tried-and-true doesn't reward the adventurer, thanks to the overpowering herb taste in these drinks. While the can design is very pretty, it's not quite the point of buying a can of Aura Bora.

    Moleskine

I love my Moleskine - I've both purchased and been gifted these notebooks and they are worth every penny. I write with 0.7-mm gel pens, and with this brand I've never had to deal with bleed-through on pages. Coupled with the solid elastic band holding the book together (which haven't stretched out on me yet!), these are durable and well-suited for toting around in a work bag.

    Thinx

Thinx has, unfortunately, lost its shine for me with the most recent settlement about leaking forever chemicals. But long before that I was disillusioned with how some stains never got out of their underwear, requiring several pre-rinses before tossing them in the washer and ruining part of their ease. I've also dealt with leakage on more recently purchased pairs (within the past six months) long before it was supposed to hit full, despite buying the right heaviness for the appropriate days of my period - making me question the brand's quality control and consistently.

    Cometeer Coffee

As someone frequently running between meetings while working from home, I'm usually keeping an eye out for anything that makes my mornings more efficient. Cometeer makes great coffee and is a big timesaver for people who don't have the time to grind and brew fresh cups in the morning. These capsules are just as easy to use for cold brew prep as they are for making drip coffee, though they definitely are on the expensive side.

    Muji

Muji makes excellent quality clothing, home goods and office supplies for very affordable prices. Among my faves? Their tees (thick and not see-through), pens (they write so smoothly!), and stationery (sticky note checklists are great and not branded). They also sell plenty of travel-size containers for frequent fliers.

    Milk Bar

I've been gifted Milk sweets from friends, and often find them very sugary. While flavorful, they're the kind of cakes and cookies that leave you wanting to scrub your teeth immediately after consuming. Despite that, they're always a delight to open because of the eye-catching packaging.

The tins are great to reuse as gift boxes or storage for hair ties, cotton pads and other beauty supplies.

    Dollar Shave Club

I've used Dollar Shave Club for years, and am a big fan of the pricing + items they offer for their subscriptions. Like other reviewers have shared, you really have to watch the timing of your shipments or you'll end up with a drawer full of blade cartridges.

    Allbirds

The Wool Runners line from Allbirds is very comfy, and worth the price. Being able to insert your own insoles is great for those with orthopedic issues. Given inclement weather, it's also great to be able to wash them easily when you step in mud or stain it.

    Feedback

Be careful washing your Allbirds - the brand-provided soles can't go in the wash.

    Supergoop!

Tried the Unseen Sunscreen on the recommendation of a friend and unfortunately, this just wasn't it for me. It's not ideal for people who hate strong-smelling sunscreen, despite having a scent that's very different than the usual drugstore sunblock scent. As someone with combo skin that leans oily, my skin looked more greasy than dewy while using this product.

    Glossier

I'm a big fan of Glossier's balm dot com, which is the perfect salve for dry spots and chapped lips! However, some of their product packaging is lackluster. Though I've previously been a fan of the milky jelly cleanser, the pump's locking mechanism frequently sticks and unsticks, especially when it's jostled in a travel bag.

    Feedback

Be careful with some of the packaging on pump-top products. If you prefer buying your makeup and skincare in-person, it's now available at Sephora.
