When I first tried it, the texture stood out right away, it feels quite tacky once applied and sits on the skin as a slightly sticky base (in a good way) rather than a slick or matte surface. After waiting about a minute, I applied my foundation and noticed my base looked smoother with fewer signs of shifting or wearing off after several hours. On days where I needed my makeup to last (say long hours or heat/humidity), this primer definitely helped, my foundation stayed more intact, there was less midday patchiness, and my makeup looked more like I’d just applied it rather than been wearing it for hours.

I love this primer. I heard about it for a while, it was all over my tiktok etc and I finally caved and it was worth every penny. It really holds my makeup on nicely and is just as good as the urban decay all nighter spray.

One of my go-to makeup brands for everyday products that are long lasting and creamy to blend! I recently bought their new Hydro grip Skin Tint - and it is fantastic! Sticky goopy quick drying consistency that leaves a glowing hydrated even base on the skin! Looks amazing when you use a primer under as well - can tell that it will be my #1 makeup base product for this summer coming up!

I learned when using Milk Makeup Hydro primer make sure to use the same base/foundation formulation as the primer or it might not work. The primer is perfect at giving hydration to your skin but also keeps your oils in place because the formulation first is a stinky/ serum and then turns into a lightweight hold on the skin. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the primer, but that is my opinion, and it is not a fragrance scent it is more of a plant/light earthy aroma. It hard to pinpoint it.

Love milk makeup so much! Especially the hydro grip primer, it’s so good! It’s super sticky which is exactly what I look for in a primer, it’s keeps all of my makeup in tact throughout the day and it’s amazing!

I have tried the viral primer. It’s very sticky. I don’t essentially like the fact that it’s too tacky but I guess that’s what it’s supposed to do. I just haven’t used primers. I feel that consistency. I guess it can compare to the health one, but it wasn’t my favorite.
