Milk Bar polarizes: reviews praise the in-store classics like Cereal Milk soft serve, Milk Bar Pie, Birthday Cake, and cake truffles as nostalgic, inventive, and delicious, yet many find products overwhelmingly sweet and note uneven quality in packaged grocery items. Reviews also flag inconsistent freshness and multiple failed or late deliveries, while applauding playful branding and gift appeal, plus solid gluten-free options.

The milk bar birthday cake is so overly sweet its almost hard to eat.

Those birthday cake truffles had me in a chokehold for a minute but considering the expense… just make them yourself. Very fast shipping though so that’s a plus.
Not to be dramatic but the pie flavored ice cream changed my life. I haven't tried any of the other ice cream flavors because I can't imagine one better. We've been convincing all of our friends to try it. I recently found the bake at home cookie dough in our grocery store and got the birthday cake version. It was super sweet and although followed the package directions, they turned out really burned and flat!
Amazing cakes but pricy. I bought a cake for my friend’s birthday. She lives across the country from me so it was nice to be able to help celebrate her from thousands of miles away. I just wish there was a cheaper option.
I wish I was eating their cakes right now. I would recommended every product as I have tried a very large majority of them. My favorite is the Milk Bar Pie.
The birthday cake truffles. The compost cookies. The confetti bday cake. It is all delicious. Goldbelly has nationwide delivery for gifting. A perfect gift for anyone who has lived in NYC and loved Momofuku Milk Bar back in the day. Don't buy the tinned versions of the cookies from Target. They are NOT the same.
Both the cookies and cakes… speechless! Sooo good! And beautiful too
The taste was ok, however it tasted a little too processed for my liking.
I love Milk Bar! I've been impressed with their ability to maintain the quality of their products as they've expanded significantly. My favorites? The cereal milk ice cream (with corn flakes, of course), the cake truffles (both flavors), and compost cookie. My love for Milk Bar aligns with my other snack loves -- Betty Crocker boxed cakes, v sweet candy, and cookie dough. If you don't like those things then Milk Bar might not be right for you. One final word of caution -- don't eat too much in one sitting. You WILL get a belly ache.

I've been gifted Milk sweets from friends, and often find them very sugary. While flavorful, they're the kind of cakes and cookies that leave you wanting to scrub your teeth immediately after consuming. Despite that, they're always a delight to open because of the eye-catching packaging.

The tins are great to reuse as gift boxes or storage for hair ties, cotton pads and other beauty supplies.
I feel like everything from here is so sweet. The only 2 things I feel is worth getting is the corn cookie and the pie.

It could have been less sweet.
delicious and I greatly appreciate the gluten-free options!
I have tried Milk Bar ice creams and I really enjoy the flavor and the experience, in the right serving size. The products tend to be way too sweet and a little expensive.
Honestly, I think the baked goods and ice cream are too sweet! I wanted to love this brand, because so many of my friends do, but I just don't. From the cake balls, to cookies, to ice cream I find myself wanting more developed flavors and less overwhelming sweetness.

Deeper flavor developlment.

So conflicted! I love Christina Tosi, and how creative the products are. But I find everything too sweet, and the texture doesn't feel right for really any of the baked goods. It's a "fun" brand, and makes a great gift. But there are better sweets out there. Better and cheaper too.

Tasty! Shocked my taste buds at first because the ice cream was slightly salty..

Innovative & creative!
I went to NYC from Toronto JUST to experience the OG Milkbar and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I wish I could have brought home everything, including 10 cakes, but that'll be the next trip!

Ended up getting the cookie taster pack that came in the resuable tin can and it was the cutest packaging, great customer service and just such a vibe!
Indulgent, rich, cute and sweet treats for a special occasion.
I've had milk bar cookies before, but was also recently gifted a variety pack box. It gave me the chance to try more flavors and really settle on a verdict. I would say the confetti cookie is a classic and can't go wrong there. The compost cookie is also great and what you would expect from one. Now the other flavors....meh. Most of the cookies tend to be overly sweet and you can't finish it in one setting. The flavors aren't anything I would truly crave either.

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to try them. I don't get the hype, but I wanted to.
I tired a holiday cookie multipack and was beyond disappointed. The flavors were overly sweet, the texture was dry and dense at the same time, and the cook was tough and hard.

Big improvements need to be made to the cookies. They aren’t worth the hype or price.
