When i received my Priddy it was not sealed properly and the elogating cream looked as though someone had dug out of the jar. I don't think no one would buy product or of the store with out a seal much less a product that looked like it been used! And she expected me to trust what she said, i think not! I reached out to customer service (Joslyne) and she literally told me that i should use the product! I was floored because i feel like she was not trying to understand the issue i had. So i proceeded to tell her i would like a refund because of the issue and her lack of understanding in a reply email and i got NO response. So the next day, i had to send another email and i finally received a statement of i had to send it back within a certain amount of days and i had to pay for shipping and they will examine the product! REALLY!!! No shipping label or how to send it back, NOTHING! I did not get well how can we rectify the issue, I'm sorry , how can i help , nothing!! I m disappointed that i won't be able to try the product. I don't recommend at all from the website! I expected a better experience. Customer service just is not customer service anymore. I haven't tried a product I didn't like yet and a little bit goes a long way! My type 4 hair loves this stuff! You’re definitely paying a bit more than some other products on the market, but it easily proves to be worth it through the quality of the products and the healthy response the hair has to the ingredients.

The whole brand is worth trying out since there isn't a single bad product from this brand. The price and quality are what impressed me the most. All the products were suitable for my hair and I enjoyed using them but due to foregoing many steps for a simpler hair care routine I no longer use the products. If you like layering multiple good quality products you would enjoy this brand. Stand out product to me was the oil which can also be used as a body oil.

I have tried the entire line with the exception of the plumping deep conditioner. I love the African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo. The applicator tip is sheer genius when it comes to the application of the shampoo to your scalp. A little goes a long way and the shampoo didn’t dry my hair at all. The leave in and twist elongating cream also worked well with my 4b low porosity hair while only using a small amount. I use the multi use oil as a hot oil treatment, scalp oil and sealant. The only down side is the shipping is a little slow but the products are worth the wait.

This Melanin haircare plumping deep conditioner is pretty amazing. My hair really needed a deep condition because it was dry and course from being on the Harley Davison all weekend. It made my hair feel really soft right after using it. I used a small amount. Probably a quarter size amount and left it on for 30 minutes and then I rinsed it out. It didn't weigh down my hair and my curls are really bouncy now.

i love using this leave-in conditioner on my hair. it feels hydrating and moisturizing but not heavy. i like to use it before a protective style, and to moisturize my hair while doing a twist-out or braid out

Melanin haircare has your wash day sorted! I love the multipurpose oil as a prepoo to help detangle my hair and massage my scalp, the shampoo smells great and leaves my hair feeling clean without leaving it feeling dry, and the leave in conditioner is SOOO moisturizing.
