Maisonette is truly a one stop shop for beautifully designed and globally sourced apparel, accessories and decor for littles. Great for gifts plus has a beautiful in-house line, Maison Me. Like Net-a-porter for familes.

We have a play kitchen and my daughter absolutely loves it. It was a bit difficult to put together the directions weren't that clear. But overall we love that she loves it. 

BAD BAD BAD! BBB gives this company an F rating. Stay away.

I gave them one star because I couldn't give any less and I must admit their inventory is quite versatile. However, when it comes time to actually receive that inventory, good luck! I can see why they have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. My experience was highly disappointing. I ordered the Princess Vanity and Stool for my granddaughter leaving plenty of time for it to get to me before I left on an extended vacation. I ordered it on November 29th and they promised delivery between December 1st and December 5th. I was leaving on December 10th so I thought it was safe. The sale was final and that was okay because I thought there was plenty of time. When I didn't receive any word on tracking or shipping information by December 5th I called the company. I explained the situation and the customer service representative agreed that if the item did not come before I left I would be entitled to a refund. The next day I got an email from a customer service rep who said she would be getting me shipping information. I wrote back thanking her. The following day I rode two ask if she had any information. She did not. By the third day, time was running out and I said that since she had not been able to provide me with any shipping information in 3 days I would be canceling the order and contacting PayPal. I contacted PayPal and waited for a reply. I am leaving tomorrow and never heard back from customer support. So I called Maisonette again and got Joy who explained that all their merchandise came from third-party dealers, (in this case, KidKraft) and while she could see that the order had been processed, there was no shipping information as yet. I asked her to please stop shipping. She claimed to be unable to do so. She said when the item arrived I could obtain a return shipping label and get the refund that way. But I explained AGAIN that I would not be there to accept delivery. The following day I got a FedEx tracking number saying that the item would arrive on Dec 15th. I called FedEx and canceled the delivery myself. Now I am waiting to see if I get a refund. Stay away from this company. The items are beautiful as pictured but they are terrible with follow-up.


Lots of desirable stuff, but also lots of overpriced stuff (often the same item is marked up more on Maisonette than elsewhere). Also their site is SO slow. If you're trying to peruse (especially for a sale) it takes ages to load. 

Ordered two jewellery boxes from my granddaughters with plenty of time to receive before Christmas.  They were $50 and $60.  When they arrived they looked like they came from the dollar store (and that’s insulting to the dollar store) and one was broken. Immediately emailed the company. Got an email back saying they were having trouble getting in touch with the company that made them.  Then AFTER Christmas they without explanation refunded me less then the broken one cost 

I shop at Maisonette a lot. However,  I no longer plan to be a customer. I have not had to deal with their customer service until now and it is terrible. I ordered a gift for me son. I emailed a day later asking that they cancel the order. No one would ever get back to me. Then the order never came so I thought maybe they had canceled as I asked. Nope. The item arrived late. I then emailed to return the item. After weeks of continued outreach they told me they could not cancel my order and now I cannot return because it is final sale. I think the way you treat customers is important in a business. I will go directly to vendor and not use Maisonette going forward. After reading other terrible examples of their customer service in other reviews I can see that my experience is not a one off. I will not shop there and no one else should. 

Some brands are a bit expensive, but the quality is commensurate.

This site is perfect for new parents and family/friends of new parents to find everything they could possibly need at home or want to gift. Not only do they have every brand I am looking for, but the MaisonMe line is also darling.

scam site don’t shop there. 

spent $150 on a kids chair. the chair was used and safety belt missing. they claimed they contacted the manufacturer to ship a new one. no. they created the shipping label and the replacement never arrived. and of course, they stopped replying after a couple email saying “oh i’m still working on it” it’s been a month now. the website looks legit but it is actually a scam, don’t even shop there. 

I initially thought i’m just an unlucky costumer but then… google brought me here, and learned other mama have the same issues with this website. i asked for a refund they never got back to me. hope fellow mamas won’t fall for this :( lesson learned. 

This site offers wonderful products, however their delivery/shipping is very slow, even when selecting expedited shipping for $30.

In addition, I accidentally placed a duplicate order when updating my credit card.  Within minutes, I requested a cancellation for the duplicate, I was told it was not possible, because the orders go strait to the warehouse and begin the process.  However, even with paying $30 for expedited processing and delivery, the 2 orders show ready, but have not been shipped, 4 days after the order was placed.

This retailer carries great product, but needs much improvement in their customer service and shipping/delivery process.  If you can find it somewhere else, go there.
