I wish I had read the reviews of this company before ordering a $900 framed California flag. I ordered the flag on November 15. On December 9th I got an email asking how I liked it. Of course I hadn’t received it nor had I received any updates on the product. I immediately contacted the Maisonette customer service. They emailed me to say it would be here between December 27-January 5. It is now January 9th still no word on where or when I will receive this. I call the customer service. She says ,”Let me look into it.” There is no tracking and no record of shipping or anything other than my order and a record of me contacting them to inquire about my order. She says, “ Well it’s only 4 days off from January 5th. You have to realize there is a delay because of the holiday.” What? This is a business. They have no record of a shipment? What does this have to do with the holiday?  She say,” In a few days this company will email them and let them know what’s going on.” I should receive an email in a few days which will tell me what’s going on. Really? I don’t have any faith this will happen. I will have to call again in a few days when I still haven’t heard back. Then I will try to claw back my $900.

Please don’t order from this company. I am afraid I may have been robbed of $900. 

Maisonette is truly a one stop shop for beautifully designed and globally sourced apparel, accessories and decor for littles. Great for gifts plus has a beautiful in-house line, Maison Me. Like Net-a-porter for familes.

We have a play kitchen and my daughter absolutely loves it. It was a bit difficult to put together the directions weren't that clear. But overall we love that she loves it. 

Lots of desirable stuff, but also lots of overpriced stuff (often the same item is marked up more on Maisonette than elsewhere). Also their site is SO slow. If you're trying to peruse (especially for a sale) it takes ages to load. 

Ordered two jewellery boxes from my granddaughters with plenty of time to receive before Christmas.  They were $50 and $60.  When they arrived they looked like they came from the dollar store (and that’s insulting to the dollar store) and one was broken. Immediately emailed the company. Got an email back saying they were having trouble getting in touch with the company that made them.  Then AFTER Christmas they without explanation refunded me less then the broken one cost 

I shop at Maisonette a lot. However,  I no longer plan to be a customer. I have not had to deal with their customer service until now and it is terrible. I ordered a gift for me son. I emailed a day later asking that they cancel the order. No one would ever get back to me. Then the order never came so I thought maybe they had canceled as I asked. Nope. The item arrived late. I then emailed to return the item. After weeks of continued outreach they told me they could not cancel my order and now I cannot return because it is final sale. I think the way you treat customers is important in a business. I will go directly to vendor and not use Maisonette going forward. After reading other terrible examples of their customer service in other reviews I can see that my experience is not a one off. I will not shop there and no one else should. 

Some brands are a bit expensive, but the quality is commensurate.

This site is perfect for new parents and family/friends of new parents to find everything they could possibly need at home or want to gift. Not only do they have every brand I am looking for, but the MaisonMe line is also darling.

scam site don’t shop there. 

spent $150 on a kids chair. the chair was used and safety belt missing. they claimed they contacted the manufacturer to ship a new one. no. they created the shipping label and the replacement never arrived. and of course, they stopped replying after a couple email saying “oh i’m still working on it” it’s been a month now. the website looks legit but it is actually a scam, don’t even shop there. 

I initially thought i’m just an unlucky costumer but then… google brought me here, and learned other mama have the same issues with this website. i asked for a refund they never got back to me. hope fellow mamas won’t fall for this :( lesson learned. 

This site offers wonderful products, however their delivery/shipping is very slow, even when selecting expedited shipping for $30.

In addition, I accidentally placed a duplicate order when updating my credit card.  Within minutes, I requested a cancellation for the duplicate, I was told it was not possible, because the orders go strait to the warehouse and begin the process.  However, even with paying $30 for expedited processing and delivery, the 2 orders show ready, but have not been shipped, 4 days after the order was placed.

This retailer carries great product, but needs much improvement in their customer service and shipping/delivery process.  If you can find it somewhere else, go there.

I am so disappointed and disheartened, I ordered an MZ Wallace bag from Maisonette on 8/7 and got an email that it would arrive between 8/17-8/19. Total for the bag was $235 - so not cheap! I still had not gotten it on 8/18 so I emailed customer service to inquire when I would get it bc the tracking information when I clicked on link in the email was in German (odd?) only for them to tell me it was delivered on 8/9 - I never got an email saying it was delivered (bc apparently the tracking # was wrong?) and I never got the bag. After weeks of back and forth I’m told the USPS said they delivered it IN MY MAILBOX (why would this be put in my mailbox???) and there is nothing they can do. I paid $235 for a bag and never received and this company has done little to resolve this. I have multiple emails going back and forth and had multiple calls with customer service. I asked on 9/9 for this matter to be escalated and for a manager or someone higher up to contact me and was told they would within 48 hours. Never heard from anyone. I’m so shocked a company of this size would treat customers like this. I won’t stop until this is resolved. Hoping this post will be read by someone who cares.
