Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

  • I tried a box of the Cocoa cereal when the brand was available at a pop-up grocery store near me. I had been hesitant to purchase online with the minimums. I thought the cereal was pretty good for a protein product, however, it was pretty steep for a box of cereal (about $10).

  • I have been a Magic Spoon subscriber for about 6 months, getting a variety pack of their best flavors sent to my door monthly. I really love the taste and flavors of their different cereals - the cocoa and peanut butter are definitely my favorites. I discovered them while on the Keto diet, and it's incredible to me how tasty they are for just 4-5 net carbs a bowl. I continue eating it even outside of Keto, as I'm a big fan of the taste overall.

  • We tried the variety pack, and I loved all the flavors. I like the sweetness from monk fruit and non sugars. But my partner felt like it had too much fake sugar taste. His take was that the first few bites were good, but then you can’t eat a whole bowl of it. Problem for me is that is made out of milk products, and I have a sensitivity, so it didn’t work out for our family. Much respect though for the art, the packaging, and the cleaner ingredients.

  • This is the best healthy cereal on the market. I've tried almost all flavors and the I liked them all. It's guilt-free, has super cute packaging and it's delicious. Yes, it's a little pricey but I would rather spend more and know I'm paying for a quality product.

  • Purchased while on a keto diet at a moment when I was deeply missing breakfast cereal options. Loved the packaging, but the flavors fell short. I didn't care for the sweetner/taste. Also found consistency to be differnt than expected. So disappointed so that I ended up gifting the remainder of the boxes to a friend.

Pricing was too high and overall flavor experience was lacking.

  • Love being able to experience the taste of classic cereals from my childhood for breakfast or an anytime snack with less guilt involved since they are more nutrient dense and lower in sugar, carbs, etc.

    None at this time

  • The product is expensive and some flavors give a weird gummy taste but the peanut butter is so yummy!

Should have more competitive pricing or bigger boxes. One box is about 4 bowls.

  • I think Magic Spoon is an amazing alternative to sugary, nutrition-less cereal. I love that the packaging is colorful and fun purely so that kids might want to consume it - they deserve better-for-you products like these! If you are familiar with monk-fruit and/or stevia-sweetened products, then you will love these. If you are sugar-addicted, you might think they aren't as tasty as the big-name cereals you are used to. But these are WAY better for you, and the flavors do the job. I loved the fruity, blueberry, peanut butter and honey graham flavors. Love that you can build your own packs too.

The first iteration of the frosted was a bit too sweet. I only had one flavor that was sub-par, and it was a special edition cake batter. Would love resealable bags maybe? Not much to improve, really love this product!

  • I think it’s a great alternative for traditional cereal if you’re very conscious about your macros, but the texture and flavor leave a lot to be desired. It’s not a delicious substitute for cereal but a good fix for any health nut trying to get a cereal fix. The artwork is amazing though! A real treat for the eyes every time you open your pantry.

Flavor and texture as mentioned above. I’m sure there were a lot of levers pulled to keep the macros at the right level but I’d rather just eat a smaller bowl of real cereal. Maybe it’s just not for me? And that’s why I would still recommend it to a friend to try for themselves.

  • Packaging is adorable. Taste left something to be desired. Also hurt my stomach a ton and I do not have food allergies.

  • I love the chocolate hoops, which are not overly sweet but not tasteless. Some of the other flavours are less compelling, but have repurchased the cocoa hoops.

  • Love this breakfast food! No grains, great flavors, wonderful variety.

Packaging is only so-so. Boxes can be difficult to use. What’s in the box is outstanding.

  • Attractive packaging, subtle and sweet flavor. It is a good healthier alternative if you are trying to watch your sugar consumption

The after-taste is a little funky and the texture gets a bit sticky after a few bites. It is on the pricier side for a box of cereal so I do not see myself eating this every day

  • We loved this cereal. We have tried cookies and cream(which was a limited time) cocoa, peanut butter and fruity. We loved mixing the coca and peanut butter ones together. These together was our favourite. My kids also liked the fruity one. Tastes similar to fruit loops but without all the junk in it. It was a little more expensive than what we wanted to pay for it which is why we have stopped ordering.

  • I'm always looking for healthier options for everyday snacks. I wish I could say this was one of them. The flavor is fine at first but after the first spoon full, the after taste bothered me.

  • Tastes SO bad. Threw out rest of variety pack after a few bites of different flavors.

    Terrible tasting.

  • It tasted like a baby puff cereal. It wasn't terrible but I didn't like the texture or flavors too much. I tried 4 flavors, fruity, frosted, chocolate and cinnamon. I understand it's healthy and the taste will reflect that, but I would not buy again, I've had other organic and healthy cereals I prefer. And the cost was expensive, for for boxes, but I wanted to try it and to support a new small business.

  • cute packaging, good cereal
