Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

  • It’s really delicious. I was just looking for a yummy cereal with protein to stay fuller for longer and it fits the bill.

    Feedback

It’s quite expensive and not something I would normally buy because of that. Lowing the price somehow would be ideal.

  • I don’t think Magic Spoon is worth the cost. For 4 boxes of cereal, it was around $40 total. And each flavor was just… not great. Frosted had to be my favorite as it was the only one I could tolerate. The peanut butter flavor was so, so bad. Each flavor definitely has a gross, chemical aftertaste. But I do appreciate that the product exists as an option for people who must reduce their sugar intake.

  • I’m a cereal lover so was excited to eat a more grown up version. Unfortunately, this does not taste great and the mouth feel is very heavy.

    Taste and consistency

  • The cereal was ok, but the taste was off. I couldn't put my finger on it.

    Feedback

    The texture is off.

It's just not good, there is no flavor :( I had really high hopes but it's not worth it to get Magic Spoon when there are better healthy cereals out there that actually have flavor.

  • My kids love this cereal and i feel good about giving it to them!

    Feedback

Wish it was easier to order in smaller qty.

  • Healthy cereal that tastes good but is a bit overpriced.

  • Honestly magic spoon’s concept is there, but I don’t think I would pay that kind of money for a healthy cereal alternative again. As delicious as it was, it’s still not as good as the real thing, and it’s WAY more expensive.

    Feedback

If the price were right, I would consider buying again!

  • I purchased all the flavors of this cereal with high hopes, as I was very excited about the ingredients etc. First off, it’s not an inexpensive cereal. It’s pretty pricey, but I was more than willing to spend the money if it followed through on all it promises. However, it just tastes terrible! I couldn’t choke it down, and will not be repurchasing.

    The taste!

  • Sticky consistency doesn’t work for me

    Consistency needs improvements

  • At first I thought I wasn’t going to like it but OMG I’m obsessed. It is such a quick and easy breakfast that keeps me full for awhile. I highly recommend the fruity flavor.

  • It tastes pretty good for a cereal that has 0 sugar, low carb, and grain free. But the texture of the cereal bothers me.

    Feedback

Make the cereal more crunchy and less likely to get stuck to your teeth.

  • Great tasting, very the gluten-free option. Bought for my kids but now I eat it everyday! I love the flavors and have tried them all, Fruity is my favorite.

    Feedback

out-of-stock too often and not available at retail.

  • now, low-carb and high protein are not really things I'm looking for in my diet, so maybe for someone that is, this might be a product thats worth it, but to me the taste and texture of the cereal left me a pretty disappointed. to me, the texture was a combination of the crunch from corn puff and the meltiness of those packing peanuts that disolve in water, and the taste was very artificial, probably due to the product having 0 grams of sugar. it is not a horrible product, but for the price being almost $10 for each box i do not think it is worth the money. i don't really see any reason to spend that much when there are lots of other options for quick and easy breakfasts or snacks that are a lot cheaper.

since the brand is comparing themselves to the the brands that you typically find in grocery stores. it would only be fair to make the prices comparable as well.

  • The 4 different I've tried are the peanut butter, cocoa, frosted and fruity ones. As a concept, I love the nutrition aspect and how low in sugar, but high in protein these cereals are. Given how different the ingredients are, they don't lack in flavor nor texture. They're real cereals but healthier!

    Feedback

I will say they are a bit overpriced for what they are, and taste could improve a lot more. They could be sweeter to compete with cereals out there.

  • Absolutely love the experience of eating childhood favorites without all of their negatives. Tasted wonderful and the texture was perfect.

    Feedback

Would love it even more if it was organic certified.

  • I thought it was kinda good but my spoon seemed really normal still, not magical at all, so I took off one star.

    Feedback

I thought they could use some cool new flavors like beef or avocado.

  • Loved the concept but don’t think I’ll buy them again. The flavors are fun and I liked the sweetness level, but the texture is very chewy - everything gets stuck on your teeth!

    Feedback

I’m not someone who eats cereal on a regular basis - it’s more like a sweet treat every once in a while. But I imagine this would be pretty expensive for people who eat cereal every day!

  • I was super impressed by these. I got the sample set to try each flavor. I have to admit my expectations were low going in, but it was pretty remarkable to me how well done these are. The branding is also magnificent.

They are expensive as a cereal, it's not an generally accessible item. If you love sugar cereal and want a better-for-you alternative, this is your fix.
